We had the good fortune of connecting with Alex Gabriel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alex, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
I made the decision to ignore all negative opinions and comments from people based on my dreams, goals and what I do. This has allowed me to fully focus on myself. Creating that powerful, happy, confident and incredible leader that I have been. Also, I made the decision to accept my mistakes. This decision helps me look for different ways to achieve my goals. “Choose curiosity so as not to lose opportunities that “being right” makes me lose”

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What can I say about my art? Art is authenticity, happiness and love for what characterizes me. Always regardless of the circumstances. I have passed or pass I am always focused on a vision and creating a good legacy.

No matter who you are, how you are, what you do, always know with love, passion and perseverance those dreams will come true. Everything that I have been able to build professionally excites me, makes me proud since they are those stairs to achieve true success. What I have been able to achieve today has been a lot of sacrifice for me and my family.

However, always enjoying the process, being that influence of love, respect, union, passion and that incredible power that characterizes each person. That is my true art through what I create in Social Media.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, Miami Desing Destric, South Beach and Ocean Drive, Wynwood Walls is a real options!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are many people who guide and inspire me in my personal and professional life, but my family is everything. Starting with my parents, Alex Santiago and Wilnelia Ortiz, thanks to their effort, dedication and love, they have managed to lead me on the right path regardless of the circumstances. My grandmother Alicia who has accompanied me since my childhood and has never left me alone. And finally, my brother Alex Xavier, who was an example of courage and strength to achieve my goals no matter what.

Also, there are people who show me what it means: love, support and loyalty. These are my friends like Aleysha, Gabriel, Chelsie, Hiralitza and Vannessa. Thanks to their essence and company in my life they have helped me to be what I am today. I thank other people who are in my life for everything they also contribute.

It should be noted that Gabriel is a key player in what I am today. Thanks to him I believed in myself again. It is that strength, that energy, love, respect and example.

It really is his net worth, so I feel very blessed to have a great circle of people, friends and families, successful, motivated and with incredible ideas. Without them, they certainly would not have come this far. You really can’t beat the teacher at anything without being a student, so thanks to them, I’m here today.
