We had the good fortune of connecting with Alex Righetto and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alex, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I draw a deep well of inspiration from my Italian heritage, a land rich with artistic history and home to some of the greatest Renaissance masters like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. Being born and raised in Italy has instilled in me a profound connection to the artistic legacy of my country, which continues to influence and shape my work as a fine arts painter.
The works of Renaissance artists have left an indelible mark on my creative journey. The meticulous attention to detail, the mastery of light and shadow, and the pursuit of perfection are aspects that I hold dear in my own artistic practice. Leonardo da Vinci’s exquisite anatomical studies and his ability to capture the essence of life in his paintings resonate deeply with me, reminding me of the boundless potential of the human form as a subject of artistic exploration.
Similarly, Michelangelo’s awe-inspiring sculptures and frescoes evoke a sense of awe and reverence. His dedication to portraying the human form with unmatched skill and emotional intensity pushes me to continually challenge myself in my own artistic pursuits. I am drawn to the way these masters seamlessly fused technical skill with emotional expression, a balance I strive to achieve in my own creations.
Being surrounded by the architectural marvels and artistic treasures of Italy fuels my imagination and drives me to explore themes of history, beauty, and the human experience in my artwork. Every stroke of my brush is influenced by the enduring legacy of the Renaissance, a period that encapsulates the epitome of artistic achievement. Through my work, I seek to pay homage to these great artists while also pushing the boundaries of traditional techniques and injecting my own unique perspective into the artistic conversation.
Ultimately, my inspiration draws from the timeless achievements of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and the entire Renaissance movement, as I aim to contribute my own chapter to the ongoing narrative of artistic excellence that originates from the heart of Italy.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
what do you want the world to know about you and your brand and story?
I am deeply passionate about my role as a fine arts painter and the potential of art to catalyze positive change in the world. My brand and story are driven by a steadfast belief in the transformative power of artistic expression. I want the world to recognize that artists, throughout history and even today, possess the remarkable ability to shape society, elevate the human spirit, and inspire meaningful progress.
Drawing inspiration from the Renaissance, a period characterized by revolutionary advancements in art, science, and culture, I am determined to carry forward the legacy of artists who once flourished in Italy. Just as visionaries like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo broke free from the constraints of their time, I aspire to foster an environment where artists are unburdened by suppression or limitations. It is my firm belief that when artists are free to create without inhibition, they can contribute to the betterment of society in profound ways.
Art has always been a mirror reflecting the human experience, shedding light on both our collective struggles and triumphs. Through my work and advocacy, I aim to demonstrate that art is not a mere luxury, but an essential catalyst for social change. Artists possess the unique ability to address pressing issues, challenge established norms, and bring to light the beauty and complexity of our world. By providing a platform for artists to thrive, we can uplift the spirit of mankind and humanity, fostering understanding, empathy, and unity.
I envision a world where art is celebrated as a force for positive transformation, where artists are empowered to push boundaries and create dialogue that transcends language and cultural barriers. By nurturing an environment that supports artists, we can fuel a cycle of inspiration, innovation, and enlightenment that ripples through society, leaving a lasting impact.
In essence, my brand and story are a testament to the enduring belief that art can indeed change the world. I am committed to advocating for the recognition and empowerment of artists, knowing that through their creative endeavors, we can contribute to a brighter, more compassionate, and harmonious global community.

My favorite restaurant honestly was Forte dei Marmi and I normally do not recommend Italian food in America. But this place got it so right! The chef we had that night had 2 Michelin stars. And it was magnificent.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give a heartfelt shoutout to my incredible partner, Stacy Francis. She is truly the most supportive partner I’ve ever had, and her unwavering dedication has been instrumental in shaping my career. Not only does she manage my artistic journey, but she also takes on the crucial role of coordinating gallery exhibitions, ensuring that my work reaches the right audience.
Stacy’s accomplishments in the world of music are nothing short of phenomenal. With a stunning voice and immense talent, she has graced the stages of Broadway and even achieved the status of a finalist on the X Factor. Her success in the music industry speaks volumes about her passion and drive.
Despite her own remarkable achievements, Stacy selflessly devotes her time and energy to helping me share my artwork with the world. From the very beginning, she believed in my potential and pushed me to pursue my artistic endeavors full time. Her guidance, support, and belief in my talent have been the driving force behind my current level of success.
It’s important to acknowledge that without Stacy’s unwavering support and relentless dedication, I wouldn’t have achieved the milestones I’ve reached thus far. Her encouragement and hands-on involvement have not only propelled my career forward but have also given me the confidence to embrace my artistic journey wholeheartedly.
Stacy’s influence extends beyond our personal connection – she’s a shining example of how collaboration and mutual support can lead to incredible achievements. I am profoundly grateful for her presence in my life, and I attribute a significant part of my artistic journey’s success to her invaluable contributions.
