We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexandra Figliuolo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexandra, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
I am all about positive affirmations and speaking things into existence. I would say my favorite quote is “self-belief and hard work will always earn you success”. I really believe and like this quote because as a new entrepreneur, if you don’t believe in yourself it can get pretty hard with thoughts that can come into your head or doubts but you have to keep pushing forward, work hard and trust the process.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started my digital marketing business in 2020. The name of my business is Encline Marketing.

Encline Marketing all began with the goal to help businesses THRIVE online through strategic marketing, branding and design. My passion is helping businesses stand out in the best way possible. A combination of creativity, connection and content that leaves a lasting impression is the foundation of what Encline Marketing offers.

Whether it’s helping a current or new business, seeing the whole process come together truly fulfills my passion for helping other’s succeed through marketing. I am most proud of my drive to keep going and working hard to make Encline Marketing a success. When I set my mind to do something, I make sure I go full force and never give up.

I think what got me to where I am in my business today is consistency and always having a plan in place to get tasks of mine accomplished. My tasks may not have been completed as soon or quickly as I wanted to but I always worked hard to make sure at the end of the day I did something in that day that I was proud of. I think a big part of my success so far was putting in the work, pitching myself to businesses I wanted to work with and physically walking into their business to see if there were interested in working together. Not everyone would say yes but it was worth a shot and slowly people became more interested in hearing more about my digital marketing services and how it could help save business owners time to focus on the other aspects of their business they are most passionate about.

It was not always easy and I think having a business is never easy but it is worth it to have something that you can say you have built yourself. There were many days I would question if it was worth it and would look long term but I really had to take it day by day and focus on getting from point A to point B not point A to Z. I would overcome this by taking sometime to regroup, listen to a motivating podcast, workout, take care of my body in someway to get back in focus.

I’ve truly learned that you have to trust the process. Back in the fall of 2021, I was in a low place with my business and felt stuck, not getting so many clients but I knew in order for that to change, I had to take action to make the change. I started going to more networking events in my area of NJ and making connections with other business owners that way. I can say today, I am so happy I didn’t give up then because I look back and see how far I’ve come over these past couple months and how I’ve been able to grow my business through connections and gain more clients with time.

What I would want the world to know about me and the story of Encline Marketing is that it is still a work in process and nothing great happens over night but I know there is more for me in this life, my purpose to help others in this way. I believe if you put your mind to something and are passionate about your work, there is nothing you can’t achieve.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am from NJ so I live close to NYC. I would definitely say stay at the 1 hotel in Brooklyn, NY. The hotel is an experience, beautiful view of the Brooklyn Bridge and the details there are amazing. I would get dinner and drinks at Bondst Sushi (best sushi).

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my parents James and Christine Figliuolo and my sisters Michele and Catherine Figliuolo. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their continued support for me starting my business. I am so grateful for my amazing family.
