We had the good fortune of connecting with Alice Deluca and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alice, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Starting my own business wasn’t just a dream—it was a necessity for my soul.
After years spent in environments where I didn’t have the opportunity to fully express my passion and vision, I realized I wanted something more. I didn’t simply want to “do hair”; I wanted to transform days, build confidence, and create an experience that made each person feel unique and valued.

The idea behind my salon was born from this vision: a space where beauty is seen as personal, where every client feels truly heard, and where art meets intention. I wanted to create a project that reflects my commitment and dedication, placing authentic connection at the center of every encounter.

It was scary, for sure. But I knew that staying in my comfort zone would have cost me far more than the risk of starting from scratch. So I listened to my gut, trusted my vision, and turned it into reality.
And you know what? I’d do it a thousand times over.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
AD Hair Experience was born from a passion for beauty and the desire to offer a unique and personalized experience to each client. What sets me apart is the attention to detail and the care of each individual’s needs, making them feel special and confident.
The journey hasn’t been easy, of course; I’ve faced challenges that taught me the importance of perseverance and continuous improvement. Every challenge has been a lesson in growing both personally and professionally
What do you want the world to know?
I want the world to know that I’m all about making people feel good, inside and out. Every client is treated like family, and my goal is to help them feel unique and confident. It’s all about creating real experiences that make people shine, both on the outside and from within!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Valeria has already visited Miami, and if she were to come back, I wouldn’t even know where to start. We’d definitely begin with our simple plans: bike rides along the beautiful beachfront, morning walks, or sunset strolls. Then, a nice lunch and romantic dinner to catch up on everything, maybe at Forte dei Marmi or Doma, my favorite spots.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, I want to thank myself for believing in my journey. A heartfelt thank you goes to my family and my partner, whose support has been invaluable. Lastly, I’m grateful to all those who believed in my progress and have accompanied me along the way.
