We had the good fortune of connecting with Almma Ichak and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Almma, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
Once you have achieved everything you worked so hard for, then you can stop. There’s no such a thing as failing, there is only giving up.

Here’s what I mean. Most businesses are a product of goals that the founder of the company envisioned before starting to build the business. It could be ones dream to make a change, follow a passion, help themselves grow financially etc. Everyone starts a business to achieve something.

– [ ] These are some of my goals when I first started my company:

– [ ] Empower women: Help girls like me feel confident and beautiful at the beach while wearing a flattering and unique swimsuit.

-Become a designer in the fashion space: ever since I remember myself I always loved fashion, so working as a designer is a dream coming true.

– Have an entrepreneurial mindset/ lifestyle: I always thought it was so cool to be your own boss. It makes you feel like you can do whatever you want and accomplish any goal! The sky is the limit when you are in charge. If I’m going to work hard, I might as well work hard for myself!

Do I think I accomplish everything?

No. I think I accomplished a lot but it truly feels like it’s just the beginning, these goals can grow to their maximum potential and I can’t wait to continue working and growing my brand.

My advice for when you feel like you want to give up (trust me it will happened a lot haha) :

Think of your journey, how much work you already put into this and how much you really want this.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Places I would eat:

Breakfast: Pura Vida

Lunch and dinner:

Vegan: My FAVORITE restaurant in Miami is Planta! It’s a vegan restaurant and the food is absolutely incredible, even if you’re not vegan! I actually have brought so many of my friends there and they all absolutely love it!! I would order the sushi, dumplings, and lettuce wraps! 10/10.

Italian: Serafina ( I would get the spinach ravioli or vodka pasta), North Italia, and Casa tua in Brickell.

Pizza:
My favorite pizza is Mister 01, and Andiamos.

Sushi:
Uchi ( best sushi in Miami)
Tunaki is also pretty good

Spots I like to go to:

South point park for beach and sunset
Key Biscayne for beach and sunset
Coconut groove- walk around
Lincoln road- I loveeee!!!!! I feel like there is so much to do there, especially if you like shopping like me!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
