Meet Almoni Ellis | Strength Coach, Athlete, & Mom

We had the good fortune of connecting with Almoni Ellis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Almoni, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
As a mother of a 4 year old daughter, I believe the most important thing I’ve done as a parent so far is model a “go-getter” spirit. I want my life to embody that there are no bounds to my creativity, my goals, my aspirations, and my love for others. My daughter has taken up gymnastics in the last year and I’ve already witnessed the impact in her actions.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is Mo Fit, LLC. I am a strength and conditioning coach that focuses on science based training principles to help mothers, athletes, and mom-athletes reach their goals! I am most excited about continuing to expand my business and open up a brick and mortar facility! Getting to where I am today business-wise was not an easy feat. In college, I was a Human Performance major not a business major. I had to learn business principles: marketing, sales, retention, system, processes, etc. Moreover, I did this with a newborn and during a major pandemic. It has been a game changer in how I operate my day to day operations as a one-person business. I want the world to know that becoming a mom does not have to stop your goals, it’s merely a catalyst.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my daughter Marley!
