Meet Altagracia Garcia | Parenting Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Altagracia Garcia and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Altagracia, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
As a preschool teacher since 2006, I noticed a recurring pattern in every school I worked at—parents consistently came to me with questions about their children, from sleep and eating challenges to behavior and development. I realized there was a real need for a supportive space where parents could find guidance and reassurance. Being both a teacher and a mother, I felt called to create that community—a “village” where I could share my expertise, mentor parents, and provide answers to the everyday questions that come with raising children.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business was born out of both my professional experience as a preschool teacher and my personal journey as a mother. What sets me apart is the combination of those two perspectives: I don’t just teach theory, I live it every day. Parents often came to me with questions about their children—why they weren’t sleeping, eating well, or how to manage certain behaviors. I realized there was a real need for a space where parents could find guidance, encouragement, and practical answers.
I am most proud of creating that “village” for parents—a community where no one feels alone in the journey of raising children. Building it has not been easy. Like many entrepreneurs, I faced doubt, limited resources, and the challenge of stepping into something new. But every challenge became a lesson: patience, consistency, and faith are essential. I learned that success is not about speed but about perseverance and staying true to your mission.
What I want the world to know about my brand is that it is built on love, education, and authenticity. It is not just about giving advice—it’s about walking alongside parents, mentoring them, and empowering them to raise confident, healthy, and happy children with integrity, self-love, and purpose.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend visited Miami, here’s how I would show them the best of the city in just a few days:
Day 1 – Beach & Culture
Start with a relaxing morning at Miami Beach, one of the most iconic and beautiful beaches in Florida. In the afternoon, head to Calle Ocho to experience Cuban culture, music, and history.
Day 2 – Flavors of Miami
Enjoy authentic Cuban fusion at Finka Table & Tap for lunch, then explore Coral Gables and have dinner at Graziano’s, known for its incredible Argentine cuisine.
Day 3 – Scenic Views & Seafood
Brunch at the Rusty Pelican, with breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay. In the evening, have a classic Miami dinner at Joe’s Stone Crab, famous for its seafood and legendary fried chicken.
Day 4 – Hidden Gems
Spend the day discovering local neighborhoods, small cafés, and the city’s vibrant Latin flavors—because Miami’s charm is in its mix of cultures and people.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout goes first to my mother. Even though she didn’t always have the best example to follow, she did the very best she could with the knowledge she had, and for that I am deeply grateful.
Second, to my daughter. Through her, I’ve discovered the true meaning of motherhood. It’s not something we are instantly prepared for, but something we grow into day by day.
And finally, to my students—my little ones, as I lovingly call them. They don’t just learn from me; they also teach me. They inspire me to grow as a person and as an educator. Because of them, I constantly challenge myself, keep learning, and prepare with intention so I can give them the very best of myself.
