We had the good fortune of connecting with Amanda Wood and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Amanda, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I’m first generation American, born to Barbadian parents, born in Boston, Massachusetts. Due to family commitments, I was obligated to spend much of my time childhood in Barbados. As a result of the requirement, it led me understand my culture more, which then lead me to explore the option of having dual citizenship. While having my citizenship, it allowed me to exercise my rights to stay in the country legally. For many reasons bonds were formed, adventures took place, and I became more aware of my natural roots.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m personally proud of myself for sticking with my journey. I’m usually a procrastinator and I tend to not finish a lot of projects I start, but this one was not only beneficial to my health but to others. I enjoy caring for others and health is a big factor in living a happier life. My eldest daughter takes great pride in calling me her mother and we have been through so much. I suffer chronic illnesses, and like most parents, I want to grow up with my children to see them become who they want to be and to be a part of the families in which they create. For me to do so, healthy eating and stimulating products have become a daily routine for me. Why would I not want to share something so amazing and powerful?
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have strong faith and I know that ALL things through Christ are possible, AMEN! My mom, aunty Maria, Grandma Joan and Grandma Marie search for many of my products upon request. My Rastafarian friends back home, have guided me through many spiritual journeys’. They have explained the reasoning of enduring many products and have shown me the true meaning of healthy body, healthy mind and positive vibes. Duytan, a dear friend of mine is the actual reason of me starting my journey. I was juicing for self because I wanted to change my diet for my children. That then went on to me wanting to juice for dear ones close to me, and it was Duytan who suggested that I ventured off to start my own business and for that I am truly grateful. Let’s not forget all who have supported the business by either, promoting without asked, buying the products and giving honest feedback and to for the uplifting kind words.
