We had the good fortune of connecting with Amaury Love and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amaury, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
To sum it up “Just Do it”. To me there are many important factors behind the brand. Such as planning, visualization, strong team, selflessness, confidence, and many more. However, sometimes It just takes for us to do it. We can have all the planning, resources, and people around us, but nobody is gonna make you pick up that pen. Nobody’s gonna tell you hey wake up at 6am and get to work. It’s all on you. You just gotta do and as much as you plan. An one of the major keys is to never stop. What’s for you will always be for you unless you believe it’s not for you.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is my life! Literally, I make Hip Hop music about my life. An I think it’s exactly what sets me apart from my peers. Every sentence, word, or even letter come’s from a pure place. I do my best to speak my truth in my music and make it as authentic as possible with out compromising anybody involved. What I’m most proud of right now is my latest album “111”. This tape means everything to me. It’s my first album I engineered myself. I coproduced each song with my brother Fatboy aka Oza Music. An every song is a true story. This is the first time I was completely transparent with my life and my ups and downs. Even the intro called “Zero” which is inspired by “Kill Jay Z” off the 444 album. Is pretty much me dissing me and used to set the tone of the tape to show the audience my vulnerability. I got to this point simply by working hard, believing in myself, and trust my team. I know it might sound Cliché however it’s important to embody these attributes to transition into the next level. An it’s not easy or a walk in the part, but that doesn’t mean it’s not fun. I heard from this conscious brother “Infinite waters” say that “money is a byproduct of what you’re passionate about.” So yeah it’s definitely not easy but I wouldn’t consider it hard either just challenging. I overcame the challenges simply by not stopping. I don’t take any moment as a defeat or a loss only a learning experience. I learn from each experience and apply what I learned to the next one. So whatever challenges are not complete now they will be later it’s all about consistency. For instance, I had performance at Billion Dollar Baby’s first showcase last year and did a horrible job. They told me then and their what I needed to do to get better and even go I was a little upset I did not let that stop me from achieving my ultimate goal. I took what they said and applied it. What I want the world to know about me in my story is that not only is it all truth but I want to be remembered as someone who never gave up. Someone who heard no a 1000 times and still kept going cause it could be 1001. Someone who kept it authentic and gave everything he had to his love ones. A real one

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best Homie came down to Miami for a week it would be a turn up. First, we would hit up South Beach on that Monday. Cause it’s week day it’s not packed and there’s good food spots and beautiful woman everywhere. Then through out the week we would be hitting up Wynwood to see art and more food spots. I would put my homie on to the extra casting calls they always have around here to put some money in his pocket but also see how it is behind the scenes on tv. An then on the weekend we hitting up The Miami Pop Up Shop hosted my MadeInPhlly. An any other even that a lot of these high level celebrities go to like “The Urban”.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There’s so many things that contribute to me being who I am that it crazy. However, I believe the people who deserve the biggest shout out are my fiends. Yeah it sounds cornet but it’s the truth. I credit my homies/ Day 1’s to the foundation of my success. My first rap I ever recorded was with my brother Carl over the bad side beat. It sounded horrible but that was almost the spark that lead to things to come. Especially now with all the opportunities and events that I’ve found myself in it’s because of my loved ones. My big sis Art of Noise being a journalist and an artist. She has help me network with dope people like Raymond Tayor and Nia Amber. . My brother Moizenvelli has been speaking into existence what we doing now since around 2015. An just seeing what he has accomplished like painting for Lil Twist & Gudda Gudda is amazing. Or even me learning how to create beats and engineer with my childhood homies Nick and Fatboy. Just being able to lock in and really learn the ins and out of music with your day 1s really sticks to you. An there’s so many people I wish I had the space to write. The main and most important reason I gave it up to my friends is because they inspire me to do better.
