We had the good fortune of connecting with Amelia noyes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amelia, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My independent business started as a side hobby. Once I got it to a certain point I was able to expand and turn it into a full-sized small business. I would highly recommend it if you love doing something and if you want to see if you can make money from it. Test the market and grow your business by utilizing your social media platforms.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I went full time in 2018 as an artist and it has been an amazing journey cultivating a community it’s online. Like a rollercoaster being an entrepreneur comes with its Ups and downs. It’s important to be able to stay ahead of the moments so when you are on a down moment you can still persevere. I try to provide a unique look into my brand by sharing my art through my Instagram account at @iamnoyes. My abstract approach allows viewers to see what they want to see instead of me telling them what to see.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am beyond grateful to my friends and family for the constant support and love that they share. It means everything.
