We had the good fortune of connecting with Ana D Steinman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ana D, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
Most of the people think that being a Real Estate Agent is an easy job, easy money making but it is not. It is extremely important to build trust with your clients, so being knowledgeable, experienced, knowing how to negotiate terms and conditions of a contract, being available all the time is a must! Most people want to quit their 9 to 5 job, but our job is a 365 days a year 24/7

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started my Real Estate Career in 2004 after the passing of my late husband. It was not easy with two little kids in a new city that I just moved into, but a very good friend of mine encouraged me and helped me to get into the Real Estate Business. I immediately started to love this business and after 2 years I opened my own Brokerage. Soon after, 2008 real estate crisis hit me but, when there are crisis there are also opportunities. So, it was my opportunity to start working with investors from Argentina, where I am from.
That was when lots of investors started buying properties in Miami, one client referred me to another one and very soon I was already managing over 100 properties of absentee owners.
These clients are still referring me to their friends, family members and other people since we not only built a relationship of trust but we also became friends with lots of them
Today, I can tell you that no matter what happens in our life, we need to keep going, always set goals and go after our dreams.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My best friend comes to Miami and we decide to go on a a week trip. Florida is beautiful, we could go on a road trip. We start in Miami, visiting Brickell, Downtown, Wynwood, the design district, Doral, Coral Gables, Key Biscayne, the beaches, good restaurants, bars, stop for a coffee and sit and talk…. We drive up north to St Petersburg, Sarasota, St Augustine, so many beautiful places to visit in Florida

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are a lot of people that I would like to dedicate the shoutout to! My Real Estate Coach who keeps me on track
My Real Estate Agents that also work non-stop
My friends, clients and family who give me referrals
My nutritionist and pilates instructor who help me balance my life
And so many other people that encourage me to be better everyday
