Hi Angelica, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success would definitely be being successful. My brand is centered around securing my daughters future. I know if I’m successful it allows more doors to open for our company. I would love to see my brand grow and stay strong. Being successful will secure Avery’s further and allow her to break generational curse and continue the business as she gets older.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Avery’s Magical Dusting is a cleaning service based out of Hueytown,AL. We have officially been in business a little over 7 months now. We offer deep cleanings, standard cleanings, move in/ move out specials, sanitizing services, organization services, and a on the go laundry services to both residential and commercial clients. We also offer services to hair salons, day cares, movie theaters, Airbnb’s, event centers, and more. I feel what sets us apart from all the other cleaning services is our way of making everyone a part of a FAMILY. Our MAGICAL FAMILY is our clients, but we never look at them as just clients. We create bonds we become close. We are trusted to go into someone’s personal space their PEACE and that takes trust. So because we know that it allows us to genuinely get to know each family member. We like to bring in a baby gift because we know there’s a baby on the way. We want to set a cleaning the day before you return from vacation because we knew you were leaving and would be tired coming back. It’s the smallest extra step you take gains trust and a friend. We like cleaning homes on Saturday mornings allowing you to sleep in and leave a cup and spoon under the Coffee maker. That’s us that’s who we are we are there to create a MAGICAL experience each time. The thing that brings me so much excitement is the fact we are now FULL TIME and we have been accredited by the Better Business Bureau with an A- rating. This shows me all the blood, sweat, and tears PAYING OFF 😀

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Whew bestie this would be hard cause I’m literally a home body lol. But if I had to say what I normally do and where I eat we would definitely visit my good sis Auset Williams her entire vibe is dope and she is my hair stylist so we would have to see what places she has to suggest cause she try’s EVERYTHING in the city. Day two we would definitely have to let our beat match our fly hair style and see Shawntell Speight for our makeup after look for the food trucks cause you have to try Terrific Treatz grapes they are to fight for. After we would babe dinner at Red Pearl I love this place so much. The rest of the week would probably be cooking and hanging out at the house

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I definitely have to give all praises to the most high God himself first and for most. He has been nothing but a way maker, a healer, my number one support, and the blessing they provided me my mentor Tiffaney Miller. Tiffaney is the owner of Broom Stickz Cleaning Service and has been my RIGHT and LEFT hand. When she saw that this is what I really wanted for me and Avery she came in swinging with prayers, ideas, support, genuine love , advice, and definitely a ON GO MINDSET. She has literally been one phone call away rather it be related to cleaning or just someone to cry to and vent. We pray about it she lets me vent about it and then we also go back to getting back on track. She has become more than a mentor she’s my friend my sister my FAMILY. I definitely want to also shout out my mom Irma Peterson, wow with tears in my eyes she is my EVERYTHING 🥰🥰🥰 she has been so supportive of me and encourages me everyday to keep going and she always tell me she’s so proud of me. It means a lot because I saw my mother kick cancer butt and raise 3 kids alone like it was nothing. Never saw her quit or give up on anything that came her way. She has always showed me how to make a way out of no way.
