We had the good fortune of connecting with Angeline Celestin known as “YoniGateKeeper” and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angeline Celestin, how does your business help the community?
I see PowerVsteam Yoni Spa is a beautiful impact to the community, by being of service to women reproductive wellness; starting from the age of 13 and up. My job is to serve women into choosing and connecting them into the many alternatives of well-being that life has to offer. Thru my practices as a PeriSteam-HydroTherapist (Yoni Steam Facilitator) women are easily able to explore the portal of their womb space with the assistance of herbal properties. With this benefit women are able to feel more grounded & connected to self while also addressing any root problems they may have been caring around knowingly & unknowingly.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am so happy to bring forth PowerVsteam Yoni Spa to our community because this traditional alternative wellness practice was first taken away from women, as a mean to create dependency on unnatural ways to addressing there Yoni and reproductive health. This business is unqiue because its based off of indigenous practice that goes way back. You can find that Ancient records document the use of v-steam practices in Haiti, Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceana and the Americas. This traditional practice is widespread and universal. And now I open this alternative Practice to you here in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
It tremendous to see how, women are reclaiming autonomy over their own health and, with this awakening, the traditional practice of vaginal steaming has made it to the United States. Gaining spotlight for its potential ability to improve a long list of gynecological health concerns, yoni steaming is growing quickly in popularity and becoming a universal practice used widely once again.
The reason i offer V-Steaming to other Women is because i want women to take back there power. I want to help empower women about the healing power of their Wombs. I believe this practice of womb care is such an effective non aggressive, simple treatment to all ills alignments that women deal with. If you have Bv, we can address that. Discharge? Fibroids? Fertility issues, trauma? Yoni steaming addresses and may-be able to connect you to a more soothing solution!!! And I must say, the proof is in the pudding!! And we have plenty of pudding!!!!

Haha this is a great question. So, I’m a conscious social butterfly, meaning I am only pulling up to spots that is created with love, creativity, and the principle of well-being. Here is My go to Itinerary for any friend that is coming into town !

Monday- is usually my days to enjoy myself, so im usually at the beach indulging in the sun and water. Enjoying Spa Treatments, hanging at a cafe with friends, then Later that evening i like to go to this family friendly clean holistic atmosphere called the Life Gardening Tool this is where i love to do kemetic yoga which is so good for your prana.

Tuesday – Taco Tuesday!! I like to go to this awesome authentic mexican joint called “El Guanaco Taqueria Y Antojitos”. if you go tell them Angeline sent you lol so they can give me a free year worthy of mahi mahi burritos for this free promo hahah.
Wednesday Im at Only Thai, I love me some spicy pad thai, i like to go during lunch hours they have a great lunch special plus the owner K.T is such an awesome soul!!

Thursday is a great day to enjoy a early brunch at Planta Miami. My favorite item on the menu is the burger, of course! I love the aesthetic of this environment. It’s so boho! I can see me designing a living space similar to theirs . I love to dance so by night time, im either doing a dance class. Such as haitian traditional dancing, silk , Pole, or simply freestyling with friends

Friday – Are creative days so i see me tapping into more ways of expressing myself, which for me is thru singing, so i’d bring some friend with me to open mics, that can be found all over south florida. I plan to sing thru my heart & share with others the unique wild & sensual expression of my soul. South Florida is so special and with it diversity the talents are limitless.

Saturday – I’d take my friend to the Tree top Park and enjoy forging herbs, then do a cute picnic there, i’m usually well fed, so we would be eating some delicious cuisine that is made with love by Plant based Chef, Laura Jean. Omg her food is soo delicious, it will have you feeling well nourished and guilt free after you devour her dishes hahah!

Sunday – Is My Favorite day out of the week! Everyone know this day is considered “Sunday Funday” as soon as i rise i go straight to roof top yoga that hosted by my favorite Yogi & Friend Shelly S. this gives my body the charge it needs for the direction of my day…. Who know i may end up on a yatch that day or a sexy lounge, either way I am physically and mentally ready for the joy of the day!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes, Its a must that i give a huge praise and shout out to God , my spirit guides & my ancestors before me. Thank you to My beautiful parents Labonte & Roselia Celestin who immigrated here and gave me the best life they could give. Thank you to My Magnetic Environment Fort-Lauderdale FL; I absolutley love being here and near the beach, it truly nourishes my soul. Blessing & love To a great support system who have seen me blossom into the women i am today, Ramone Shepard thank you for the investment of your love, & encouragement. Grateful I am to My beautiful & magical girl-friends who are also doing amazing things in the community as female entrepreneurs. & last but not least shout out To myself for believing in thyself. -You GO GIRL hahah!
