We had the good fortune of connecting with Anna Maliszewska and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Anna, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Soccer was always my passion. I played professionally here in US before. Got bad injurie and decided both with my husband share our playing experience with kids that are willing to go to the next level of competition.
What should our readers know about your business?
Our Academy was established with thoughts of helping low and middle class family kids. Big Academies are more focus on making money and charge to much which is very expensive for low income families. We are focus on creating opportunity for less fortunate kids and give them chance to shine. Our main focus is to get them a chance to pursue their career at least at the collegiate level and some of them help to achieve their dream of playing professional soccer.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Hollywood Beach. Beautiful place to visit, dive in the waves and good quality food.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband Jorge Calix for always being on my side and supporting me in my Soccer career. US Soccer coach Paul Shaw for believing in my coaching quality. My grandmother Agnieszka for raising me the way she did and always being my biggest fan.
