Meet Anthony Suarez | Back&Forward Records Founder/Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Anthony Suarez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anthony, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Back&Forward Records comes after recollecting several questions made to myself, related with the current status and the future of our music. Back in 2018, I (Anthony Suarez aka SUARE, Founder of Back&Forwrd Records) was working music, events and other ideas/projects with Censored The Audio (Co-Founder of Back&Forward Records) and some local names. We realized is hard for each artist to build a brand from scratch, individually. That’s why we deciced to join forces and mix our knowledge to create our own business and record label. It was a long thought process; we had so many questions, but we also understood that you get experience by educating yourself and working. Taking the best of those standars, but at the same time creating our very own way. We worked so hard on our record label for around 2 years, but here we are after that long thought process!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Back&Forward Records is a platform created to everyone! If you visit our website https://backforwardrecords.com/ you will see new content on a non-stop basis. We work hard very week to release new music, new merchandise (like shirts, hats, phone cases, mugs, and more), B&F Podcasts, new B&F Sessions, to update our 24/7 online B&F Radio. This record label has 8 artists currently signed, from DJs/Producers to Singers/Rappers, but we always guide our projects to collaborate. All projects previously mentioned here are always receiving multiple guests from anywhere around the world, to speak on our podcast, to mix on our sessions, to take the radio for a whole month (Guest of The Month), or to collaborate on music productions. We are always happy to continue working hard to create more art and content, expanding our brand.

It is definitely not easy! We get challenges daily, buy like I always say to our artists, all we need is “ganas”. If you want to do this, then let’s do it, with respect, discipline, love and always open to learn and fix to improve.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First of all, we need to eat haha! I will take them to brunch in World of Food Trucks at Kissimmee to eat the best puerto rican food, or to Ootoya Sushi at Altamonte Springs for the best sushi. Then let’s go to our beach events at Daytona Beach or Longboat Key. Once back. we can chill at NovelTea at Casselberry with our music and DJs, or to Sportstown at Orlando to start with some drinks. When the sun goes down, let’s move to GILT Nightclub, catching our DJs, or to Downtown Orlando. Finally, let’s close it at our afterparty! That’s a long trip again, but those are all the options for the whole day and night, so up to you!
