We had the good fortune of connecting with Ariana Conlon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ariana, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
“If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.” After years of doing what we love, we finally decided to turn our passion for hosting into a business. We started small, kept the vision simple, and eventually grew! We love meeting new people and showing them a good time. “People who love to eat are always the best people!”

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Whether you’re looking to meet new people, or switch up your date night routine, we welcome everyone here at Buzz Supper Club. From brunches, to blind wine tastings, to backyard yoga, we’ve had a lot of fun over the years. We also love showcasing local vendors. There’s only one rule- have fun!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d start downtown, maybe breakfast at Bayside, followed by Jungle Island or the Children’s Museum. Later we could lunch and shop at Mary Brickell Village, and end with an Island Queen cruise. We could freshen up and check out the city views over dinner at Tuyo. And if we still have energy, we could catch a show at the Performing Arts Center! We’d make our way to Coconut Grove, my personal favorite, where we’d eat brunch at Chug’s Diner- a MUST! Later we could check out Zoo Miami and Little Havana. We’d end our night over espresso martinis at The Taurus, that fresh nutmeg though!! After sleeping in, we’d get some coffee and pastries out, and if we’re feeling outdoorsy, we could hit up Everglades National Park. Later in the week we’d hit South Beach, starting at the Art Deco Welcome Center. We could walk or rent bikes to check out Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road. Miami is known for its nightlife, so we can’t leave without hitting up a nightclub, hopefully with a celebrity DJ!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
It’s all about getting out of your comfort zone! Sometimes it’s scary to try new things, but that’s when growth happens. So here’s to all of our guests who show up with an open mind and positive energy. We wouldn’t be here without you!
