We had the good fortune of connecting with Arianna Martinucci and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Arianna, how do you think about risk?
Tough one…

I’m only 20 years old, so taking risks is what people of my age should be doing, to be honest. But it’s more difficult than you think.

Personal talking, taking risks is what has been helping me to get where I am right now, I don’t consider myself a person that takes risks but photography is what I love so is worth it. Getting out of my comfort zone is what has helped me to know new people, new places. new jobs, and with these new opportunities.

If you’re afraid right now of taking a decision, DO IT. Those types of opportunities don’t come up twice in life and even if you fail, you didn’t because you learn something new, and now you know what you SHOULDN’T do the next time.

You are always learning and I think that’s the most beautiful thing in this life. I decide not to go to college and pursue my dream as a photographer, let me tell you, it has been a rough path, but I have enjoyed every part of it.

Taking risks on something that you are passionate about is the best thing you can ever do for yourself and your career. I truly believe that we came to this world to be happy and enjoyed every part of it and if you’re doubting yourself, now is the time to stop those thoughts and take the risk for what you are passionate about.

I don’t regret anything that I leave behind or jobs that I didn’t take, because every decision has brought me new beginnings and new challenges.

Every brand, event, people, and restaurant that allowed me to show how their work is done has brought so much joy that I believe more every day that I was born for this.

So, take the risk, wrote that message, do that trip, take that job, any big decision that you are doubting just DO IT and enjoy the process.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
For sure this journey hasn’t been easy, I mean I don’t think anything in this life is easy to get!

But for sure is worth it, every challenge took me to a new project with new people and experiences on it. I know this is just the beginning but I’m super proud of who I’m becoming, I have learned a lot this past few months, and I have been trying to get out there and let people know my work and what I do.

My main goal with Photos by Ari is to help brands and restaurants to tell their stories. They have been working hard on their projects and I want to show that to their clients. I think as a brand you have to show why you are different and why people should buy your products and I’m here to help with creativity and of course, pictures!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Omg, good question

First, breakfast in Caracas Bakery, that’s. a must, as a Venezuelan they have the BEST cachitos ever!
Wynwood wall is a go-to, a few pictures in those wall would make your trip look amazing!
Lunch at Mister o1, the place is awesome and food is 10 our of 10!
A few cookies from Night-Owl
Little walk throught Brickell City Centre and a good dinner at Casa Tua for sure!

As you see, food for me it’s everything haha

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family.

They are the biggest support in my life. They always taught me that you should work really hard for what you want and that opportunities don’t just magically appear, you have to put so much effort into it. They always supported me in this dream, a few months ago I didn’t have a car and my mom always drove me to the locations where I needed to be and she just stayed there, supporting me and I think I have never told that but she’s such a great mom, making time for me and the little jobs that I had. They put in so much effort to bring us to this country so we can have better opportunities that I’m really grateful to them.

My best friends, of course, always have been there even at distance they have been there since day 1 and I really appreciate that because on those days where you don’t believe in yourself they are there supporting you.

And a huge shoutout to people that gave me the opportunity to show their brand/product/food, they allow me to be creative and they trust my work so I’m thankful for that!
