We had the good fortune of connecting with Ariel Grace Pettigrew and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ariel Grace, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is God. I have been able to create my dream career because I have not compromised my values or integrity for success. I have been able to be vulnerable about my failures, wins and mistakes through that, God has allowed me to connect with some of the most brilliant women that have had similar experiences. The way I see it is we all have struggles and we need to share those just as much as we need to share our wins, it’s what makes us human, it’s what allows us to connect. My brand has been successful because I have created a culture where we are in it together, wins & losses.

What should our readers know about your business?
The thing I am most proud of is creating a product that people genuinely love, want to share and talk about. For those that don’t know, I have created a planner and journal company and my products are SO good! What I want the world to know about my brand and my story is that if you have a dream CHASE IT, I am a mom of two (three years old and 8 months old), have a full time job, side hustle as a photographer and have started my own business that is really taking off I had every excuse not to start my own company but I knew this passion inside me would never die down until I gave it a shot. Bet on yourself, it’s worth it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my bestie was visiting for the weekend and I wanted to show them the best time, I would wake them up to see the sunrise on South Beach and then we would go charter a yacht with the beautiful Megan Cashmore, owner of Miami Yachts, to show us the rest of the city.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The people who deserve the most recognition in my story would be my parents. I attribute a lot of my success, and not success financially, but success as to who I am as person to my parents. As an adult, I realize a lot of people miss out having the unconditional love of their parents. Sure my parents made some mistakes along the way, but one thing I never had to question was their love for me. They love me at my very best and my worst, they call me every single day and they always have time for me. No matter what I do they are excited for me & cheer me on. Their love gave me the confidence I needed to pursue my passions and make some of the hard choices in life I’ve had to make to get me to where I am today. Also, my husband deserves so much credit. He has been my number supporter since I told him I was going to start my own business. He encourages and pushes me daily. I couldn’t do it without him.
