We had the good fortune of connecting with Arielle Valle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Arielle, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking risks is always a challenge for me. I always feel like I’m going to make the wrong decision. But lately I’ve been experiencing that those really tough risks and changes are usually the ones that are most necessary for growth. My biggest risk this year was quitting my full time job and it was the best thing I could have ever done. I had been contemplating this choice for over a year. And one day I knew it was finally time, if I wanted to give myself and my business the chance to grow.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started this business as a healing journey of self love and getting back into my creative self. I love art and creating and making. And I knew I always wanted to do something in this realm. And I fell in love with concrete, and candles. I wanted to find a way to have an art that could be good for us and good for the earth. I want to help heal with what we make. The way it healed me. I learned that the craft is never ending journey. There is always more to learn. I’ve been doing everything I can to perfect and learn all I can about everything we make and how we can make a sustainable and healthy brand for people to bring into their homes.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely be taking my best friend to Sanibel. We would enjoy the ocean, eat chicken wings and shrimp and spend the day adventuring around the island !

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My parents have been the most supportive people in this little passion turned business. They have both been involved ever since the beginning. Pushing me to keep learning and to keep growing. My mom Beth is now doing the business with me full time and we are partners in creating and maintaining the business in two different locations. My dad goes to every market with my mom. Builds every set up, carry’s everything, will drive us to markets then pick us up. He’s just incredible and deserves so much credit in our journey.

My Boyfriend Frank has also pushed me to be the best version of myself and to go for my dreams. He has held my hand and helped us at markets and has gone above and beyond to be there for me and my mom.

I feel so lucky to have them.
