We had the good fortune of connecting with ASHLEY ROBINSON and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi ASHLEY, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Without question: perseverance.
I’ve never been the most talented, but I have relied on my work ethic & determination to find success in different areas of my life.
I have always felt I truly learned this during my time playing golf; golf is a relentless teacher! It humbles you. Even on your best day, there’s room for improvement. Golf teaches you that success isn’t given; it’s earned through missed time with your friends, sacrifices (my family and I made), weekends traveling to compete, etc.
This mentality has become the backbone of my approach to life and in business. It is why I wanted to name my business something that reminded me of the game that has given me so much.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Green Cardigan Marketing is a digital marketing agency specializing in helping law firms grow. What sets us apart is our commitment to customer service. In a world of digital marketing, where results can sometimes feel abstract, we put the client first in everything we do – from tailoring our services to how we communicate. We’re not just about clicks and conversions; we’re about building trust and long-term partnerships. Our customer service and transparency is unique in the industry and I am proud of that!
I’m excited about our future growth. The first few years were focused on obsessing over the marketing product(s) and model. I believe we’ve now created something that is impactful to our clients and we are now in a season of growth. My goal is to help many more law firms not only grow their businesses but also experience what a positive relationship with a marketing agency feels like. Far too often, lawyers come to us after a disappointing experiences, and we have the opportunity to change their perception while helping them achieve their dreams.

I relate to our law firm owners, as a business owner myself, and nothing brings me more joy than seeing their businesses grow into the goals they have for their firm.

Getting to where we are today has been a journey built on a vision, persistence, and a lot of really hard work.
Easy? Absolutely not! It’s been everything but. I didn’t go to business school, and I had never owned or operated a company before. Every day has been a new lesson.

The biggest challenge was navigating the unknown – learning the ins and outs of business operations while simultaneously perfecting our service. We overcame this by staying agile & being willing to learn from every setback.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that passion, combined with a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to serve your clients, can overcome the lack of formal experience.

I want the world to know that Green Cardigan is more than just a marketing agency; we’re a partner dedicated to our clients’ success, built on a foundation of integrity and hard work.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We are fortunate to have so many friends and family who visit us and if they are visiting anytime other than June, July or August; we MUST take them on an airboat ride through the everglades. It never get’s old! The fact that we can leave our condo in the middle of the city and be in swamp land in under an hour is fun. Even for a proud Alabamian, the everglades are wild!
If it’s hockey season, we gotta check out a game watching our national champs.
Before dinner, we will have a drink at Room 901 (such a cool speakeasy tucked away in the middle of downtown FLL).
Dinner at Robertas Pizza & Pasta (it’s a hole in the wall Italian joint where it’s BYOB. The food is beyond!)
The next morning on our way out, we gotta grab coffee and bfast at Java & Jam. This is on my monthly rotation!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The Green Cardigan team should be praised. I am immensely proud of their passion and hard work. I’m so grateful for their dedication and belief to the vision. We have built this together.
My family also deserves the recognition as they have been on this journey alongside me offering support and encouragement as I’ve chased this dream. Building a business often involves countless hours and late nights that others don’t see.
I especially want to thank my husband. Being married to a small business owner requires tremendous patience and support. His willingness to pick up the slack at home and allow me the space to chase this dream has been invaluable.
