Meet Ashley’s Excape | Artists

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley’s Excape and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
Being an artist is a 24/7 job. You can’t just pick and choose when you want to be artist. There’s always someone out there grinding, trying to outwork you. Once you left off the gas, the person that didn’t didn’t stop will take the lead.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am currently one of the fastest rising Hip Hop artists within the underground circuit in south Florida. Blending Rock and Hip Hop, I give my fans a refreshing new take on where music is going in the future, while staying true to myself. At the age of 15, I found himself getting into trouble, which lead me to gravitate towards music. Music was my “escape” from the streets, granting me the name, Ashley’s Excape. I collaborated with some of the top producers in south Florida, including producer Raphael “NOC” Oliveira, which produced music for Rick Ross, Jadakiss, Coi Leray and much more. In 2020, I released my first project “Should’ve Known”, produced by NOC, putting my foot into the music world.

2021, I released 3 singles, including “Dried Tears”, “YeH¡”, and my newest hit “2n2”, that caught the ears of thousands across the globe. This year, I have released 2 additional singles, “Lately” and “Cigarettes and Codeine”, which are 2 of my favorite singles I have released thus far. The amount of love and positive feedback I have received from those 2 singles is so overwhelming. I love my fans and I couldn’t be anything without them. With much anticipation and buzz built up, I’m set to tell the world my life story through my unique sound and exotic beat choice. Be on the lookout as I am set to put out more music before the end of 2022!.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I don’t have many friends. A lot of people that I thought were my friends, ended up showing their true colors, and I am fine with that. I’d rather be in the studio making music. With the team I have right now, this is all I need. All of us will be at the pinnacle of the music industry and everyone will see who Ashley’s Excape really is.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First, I want to shoutout my management, LTD (Living The Dream). We have become such a close family and I give them so much credit for where I am now.

They’ve never once doubted me and backed me in every aspect of my career.

People switched up on me, gave up on me and left me out to dry, but these guys have guided me to become a better person and even better artist. Second, I wanna give a shoutout to my Engineer/Producer, Vixcious. We’ve been putting in work for years on end now and I wouldn’t want anyone else riding with me through this journey. We’ve had countless sessions go until the sun comes up and he’s ready to get back to work as soon as I’m ready. He helps guide me through my sessions and gives me advice on how I could better my wordplay and melody.
