We had the good fortune of connecting with Augustin J. Charles and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Augustin J., what’s the end goal, career-wise?
The end goal is a Production company, I want to be in a professional & creative place where we make tv shows and movies.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a kid I’ve always been bright eyed to just about anything, because every single thing around us is art itself and I could see that. I say this because what sets me apart are my eyes and how I see, one of my favorites videos I’ve made is literally just me riding a bike and saying the lines “I like riding bikes its cinematic” a little fixing to the lighting and color correction also some edits here and there, it was perfect. I’m proud that as a kid scribbling in math class bored I said that I was going to be a great artist I’m not there yet but I’m a few steps closer. I got here with help I honestly was testing things out alone for about a year and it was a mess but now I’m around the right people and its gotten way better. The lesson’s that I’ve learned along the way are to serve because you’re providing a service, always double check even if you believe its fine, always make a check list, and how you treat your business will reflect how it will grow. In the end we’ll be a production company I can’t wait for y’all to see what we do!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A week of fun, first we’d go on the bike trails at Amelia Earhart Park, get some rentals while we’re there and run through the intermediate section. after that we’d finish the day off at The Squeeze 305 the food is healthy and great and their jerk chicken pasta is to die for. The next day we’d go to the water Obstacle course at Tiger Tail Lake, I haven’t done this yet myself but it would be a new Experience for the both of us, and since it’s in Ft. Lauderdale I’d probably just go with a safe choice and eat at Chick-fil-a. The third day I’d wan’t to chill because we had two days of fun so I’d just say lets go to the beach, bring a volley ball and maybe get bit competitive but overall just chill and be bros, we’d eat at Rib Shack that place is amazing. The forth day we’d play basket ball because I probably brought it up about seven different times during the week, we would play until exhaustion and for food I’d most likely be Feeling KC’s Healthy Cooking because its not only healthy but it’s really amazing. On the fifth day we’d go to Wynwood, probably see Sneaker Buyers or Daily’s, network with people who have style, and we go to Fireman Derek’s Bakeshop for a treat. For food we’d head to Brickel for a sandwich at La Sandwicherie. On the sixth day I’d call a friend with two jet ski’s and ask him to borrow them, we’ll race, have fun, and I’ll probably even fall off at one point but it’d be great and we’d eat anywhere I know no Food spots on the beach. On the last day we’d go to church and after church we’d hang out with more friends and chill. out for the rest of the day.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Jesus Christ, because with all the mistakes I’ve made he’s placed several different people in seasons of my life to keep me going. Honestly I’m not saying enough, but it truly has been a rocky road so far and we’re leveling it
