We had the good fortune of connecting with Benny and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Benny, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
At its core, what I do is help strengthen the dental community. Through Dental Resource Network, we make dentistry more transparent and accessible by connecting patients with dentists, education, and real treatment examples, so people can make informed decisions about their care.

On the professional side, we help dentists grow sustainably — whether that’s through education, collaboration, career opportunities, or helping practices transition when an owner retires. By facilitating the buying and selling of dental practices, we help keep offices open in local communities instead of shutting down, which protects access to care and jobs.

With dental implants specifically, the impact is very personal — restoring function, confidence, and quality of life for patients. When someone can eat, speak, and smile again, that affects their overall health and well-being.

So the social impact is really about access, continuity of care, and improving lives — both for patients and the professionals who serve them.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My career has been shaped by building, adapting, and connecting people across the dental industry. I didn’t follow a straight or easy path — it’s been a combination of sales leadership, entrepreneurship, and learning the business side of dentistry from the ground up.

I started my professional journey in dental sales, where I learned how practices really operate — not just clinically, but financially, operationally, and emotionally. Working closely with dentists day in and day out gave me a deep appreciation for the challenges they face and the decisions they carry. Over time, I grew into leadership roles, managing territories and teams, which taught me accountability, resilience, and how to lead through both wins and setbacks.

What sets me apart is that I don’t just understand one side of the industry — I’ve lived in multiple lanes. I’ve worked with dentists as clients, partners, and peers. I’ve been involved in practice transitions, growth strategies, and complex business decisions. That perspective ultimately led to the creation of Dental Resource Network. What started as a simple WhatsApp group to help dentists connect and share resources grew organically into a platform because the need was real. The community asked for it, and I listened.

It definitely wasn’t easy. There were moments of uncertainty, self-doubt, and risk — especially when stepping away from comfort and stability to build something new. I overcame those challenges by staying consistent, surrounding myself with the right people, and keeping my focus on long-term impact rather than short-term noise. I’ve learned that progress rarely looks perfect, and that setbacks are often just redirections.

The biggest lessons I’ve learned are the importance of relationships, integrity, and patience. Trust compounds over time. Showing up consistently matters more than quick wins. And building something meaningful takes longer than expected — but it’s worth it.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that it’s rooted in community. Dental Resource Network isn’t about me or scale for the sake of scale — it’s about creating value, improving access, and helping both patients and professionals move forward together. We’re still at the beginning, and that’s what excites me most. The story is still being written, and I’m grateful for every step that led me here.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend or any friends really were visiting for a week, I’d want them to experience the real Miami — the food, the energy, the culture, and the fun — not just the tourist version.

We’d definitely start with lunch at Versailles, because you can’t come to Miami without experiencing the world’s most iconic Cuban restaurant. It’s a must, and it sets the tone right away. From there, I’d show them around the city a bit, hit some cafés, and let them feel the rhythm of Miami.

One night would absolutely be a night out in Brickell — great dinner, great vibe, and then drinks. Places like Sugar at EAST Miami for the views, Sexy Fish for the energy, and La Mar by Gastón Acurio for an incredible dining experience would all be on the list. After dinner, we’d smoke cigars at Empire Social Lounge in Brickell — that’s one of my favorite ways to wind down and enjoy good conversation.

Another day would be a boat ride on Biscayne Bay — seeing the skyline from the water never gets old and really shows how special Miami is. For some late-night fun, I’d take them to Magic City Casino or Miccosukee Casino & Resort for a change of pace and a good time.

Honestly though, the biggest thing is flexibility. I’d spend the first day or two figuring out what they really enjoy — food, nightlife, outdoors, culture — and then I’d take them to the best spots Miami has to offer for their interests. That’s what makes the trip memorable.

And yes — all the core experiences? Those would be my treat.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d honestly dedicate this shoutout to the dental community of Miami. So many doctors here took the time to encourage me, share advice, open doors, and push me to think bigger. What started as simple conversations and a small WhatsApp group turned into real collaboration, support, and momentum — and eventually became the foundation for Dental Resource Network.

That encouragement showed me there was a real need for a platform where dentists and patients could connect, share knowledge, and support each other beyond traditional silos. Miami’s dental community didn’t just support the idea — they helped shape it.

We’re still very early in the journey, but this is really just the beginning. A lot of credit goes to the doctors who believed in the vision, participated early, and encouraged me to scale it nationally. This is very much a community-built story, and I’m grateful for that every day.
