We had the good fortune of connecting with Beth Richards and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Beth, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I think taking risks are most necessary – there is risk in never taking any at all. It’s always better to try and fail then to never try something new at all. There is power in knowing what you like and don’t like as well what works and doesn’t.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the founder of Beth Richards Swimwear, Quality Modern Swimwear for Women. Changing the way women feel about swimwear – one suit at a time.

It’s been a long and windy road – and we certainly worked very hard over the years but had some luck too. There have been many challenges but they have always helped us grow for the better. Somehow you make it through!

I would love all women to know they are goddesses – we just help them see it for themselves.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Mandolin Aegean Bistro is my fave place to hit in Miami for a delicious lunch or dinner. Then off to The Villa Casa Casuarina At The Former Versace Mansion for a drink and can’t miss the Queens down the road at the Palace!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to shoutout and thank all my loyal customers who have been the reason and motivator to making it to 10 years in business! The support of other women especially has been a force!
