We had the good fortune of connecting with BEZI and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi BEZI, what role has risk played in your life or career?
No risk. No reward. Its really that simple. In life.. you will HAVE to take risks if you want to be successful. The bigger the risk.. the bigger the reward.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
A lot went into getting to where I am today professionally. It took a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. A lot a lot of disappointments, a lot of failures and it was not easy whatsoever. It took countless and countless of hours in the studio, sacrificing time with family, sacrificing time with friends, sacrificing going out to be apart of everyone else’s plans. Honestly, the only way that I was able to overcome the challenges I faced is the support system that I have through my closest friends that I consider family and also my family themselves. I also recently had my first daughter Aria Joy and she alone changed everything for me. There are a lot of lessons that I’ve learned along the way.. too many to count, but one of them has to be whatever is meant to be yours, will be yours. Never look at the next man and always look at what’s in front of you because God will provide what you need and right when you need it. I am a testament of that. I want the world to know that never giving up is always the solution 9 times out of 10. When you give up you cut yourself short and you don’t even allow yourself to have the opportunity and live in it. DON’T GIVE UP.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If a friend was coming to Miami to visit, I mean.. I would definitely take them to the studio. The studio experience is like no other. The energy is always unmatched. The experience in itself is just so much fun so I would take them there first. Now outside of the studio, we would definitely go on the water. We would grab a Yacht get some jet skis and we’ll spend some time on the intercoastal going from island to island. Thats my favorite thing to do here in Miami. There are also so many good restaurants in Miami as well, so we would get some good food and after that we will take them out to experience Miami’s nightlife. There’s so many spots that you can visit, but miami has some of the best Dancehall and hip-hop parties that I’ve ever been to. And if we find some time we’re gonna hit the beach, because miami has some of the best beaches as well.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I wanna give a shoutout to BEAM, Simon Said, Nathan Butts, Tyree Hawkins, Dim Crux and most importantly.. my family. My girlfriend Carolina and my daughter Aria have been my biggest motivation to strive for more and never give up.
