We had the good fortune of connecting with Bianca Jade and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bianca, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
These are some of the habits that helped me to grow: consistency, self-discipline, and getting used to doing things outside of my “comfort zone.”

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from others is that I sing from my heart with pure intentions. I am so proud of my new music that I will hopefully release early 2021. What helped me get to where I am today professionally I would say is dedication, self-discipline and being “coachable” enough to where I am able to take criticism and advice without being too stubborn. Nothing about a career in the music industry is easy. I think what helps me get through challenging times is having faith that what is meant for me will always be meant for me. I’ve learned to appreciate the process and be grateful for every moment because nothing is guaranteed. I’ve also learned that it is ok to ask for help and that it is important to collaborate with others. I want the world to turn to my music for healing and over all to make you feel good.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting Miami, we would have Jamaican ackee breakfast in the mornings and Cuban coffee. For dinner, I would take them out to eat at Versailles in Little Havana to get some classic Cuban food and we would go for drinks in Wynwood and walk around the Wynwood walls to see all of the beautiful art. We would of course go to the beach every day for a couple of hours and walk down Ocean Drive (because that’s just a touristy spot that everyone has to see). We would visit the Versace mansion. I would also take them to the design district to do some window shopping of all of the high-end stores. We would walk around Lincoln Road Mall as well while having gelato.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have many supportive friends, family and creatives that have helped me along the way. I want to give a shoutout to my amazing partner DapYP. He is a huge part of my success in music and is my partner in all of my creative endeavors.
