We had the good fortune of connecting with Bianca Pierre and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bianca, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Honestly? I got tired of waiting for some “perfect” opportunity to magically appear—so I made my own. I wanted the freedom to work on projects I actually care about and to vibe with clients in a way that felt real. Once I realized I had a natural eye for photography and people were out here paying me for it? Yeah, game on.

That curiosity turned into passion, and that passion turned into a business. Starting my own thing let me grow not just creatively, but as a boss. It’s been a wild ride—full of wins, lessons, and a whole lot of growth—but I wouldn’t change a thing.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I specialize in making products look like rockstars and capturing portraits that truly showcase the essence of my subjects. Whether it’s a sleek new gadget, a luxurious beauty product, or a stunning portrait, I turn everyday moments and items into heroes of their own stories. My focus is on capturing those little details that make products pop and helping brands and individuals shine brighter than a disco ball.

I’m proud of turning a simple passion into a thriving career. It all started with a camera and a lot of curiosity. Was it easy? Not even close! There were plenty of late nights, learning curves, and moments where I questioned my sanity. But I overcame challenges by staying curious, keeping a sense of humor, and surrounding myself with supportive folks.

In a nutshell, I want the world to know that Bianca Pierre Photography is where creativity meets professionalism, and where every product and portrait gets its moment in the spotlight.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If My Best Friend Came to Visit – The Soft Life x Active Fun South Florida Week

Ohhh we’re doing this right. A week full of chill luxury, good food, some competitive spice (hello, pickleball 👀), and plenty of sunsets and wine. Here’s how I’d show my bestie the time of their life:

Day 1 – Arrivals & Wine Down
Pick them up, playlist already queued. First stop: a light grocery run for the essentials (aka wine, snacks, and fresh fruit). We’ll keep it easy—cook dinner at home, laugh over something we probably burned, then sip wine while watching the sunset. Welcome to paradise.

Day 2 – Beach Bum Mornings + Pickleball Heat
Early morning beach time at Delray or Hallandale Beach—sun, vibes, maybe a few IG pics. Then it’s time to get competitive—we’re hitting the courts for pickleball. Cute outfits, serious trash talk. Winner gets bragging rights and a smoothie from Pura Vida.

Evening = sushi and sake from Makoto or a cozy dinner in with candles and a chill playlist.

Day 3 – Art, Coffee & Kicks
Start the day slow: breakfast at Little Hen (yes, we’re ordering the rose petal pancakes, no shame). Then head to Wynwood for some art, murals, and people-watching. Afternoon pickup game of soccer at a local field because we still got it—cleats optional, vibes required.
Cool down with pressed juice or matcha, and dinner at Casa Tua for something classy but warm.

Day 4 – Spa + Sunset Glow-Up
Soft life unlocked. We hit The Standard Spa for a full-on wellness moment—steam room, sauna, and maybe a facial. After a nap (mandatory), it’s golden hour time: we dress up, grab dinner at Baia Beach Club, and watch the sunset with cocktails in hand. We deserve.

Day 5 – Farmers Market + Backyard Chef Mode
Morning stroll at Yellow Green Farmers Market for fresh everything. We pretend we’re on a cooking show while we whip up something delicious back at home—probably with a dance break in between chopping. End the night with games, dessert, and more wine on the patio.

Day 6 – Park Day + Pick-Up Soccer + Good Laughs
Pack a picnic and head to Greynolds Park or Hollywood North Beach Park. We eat, nap, and maybe kick the ball around a bit. Then hit The Wharf for some good food, outdoor drinks, and maybe a dance break if the DJ’s on point.

Day 7 – Chill, Reflect, & Final Toast
Morning walk, beach breeze, and a good coffee. We pack, recap the week’s chaos and memories, and make one last toast—wine in hand, sunset in the background. Just two besties living their best lives.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely! No one makes it to the top solo—and I definitely didn’t. First off, major love to my family, especially my little sister Laura Pierre, who’s been such a light and source of inspiration, and my best friend Cher Archange, who constantly reminded me I was that girl even when I wasn’t so sure. Their support, love, and real talk gave me the guts to keep going when things got hard.

Big ups to the photographers and creatives I’ve crossed paths with. Whether we collaborated, they mentored me, or I just quietly studied their work—y’all helped shape how I see and create. Special shoutout to Dwayne Tucker, whose approach to storytelling and the way he shoots pushed me to rethink how I use my camera. That influence runs deep.

And yes—shoutout to me, too! For betting on myself, showing up, and pushing through the messy parts. Because let’s be real, it takes serious hustle and heart to keep going when no one’s clapping yet.

Lastly, a huge thank you to my early clients who saw something in me and took a chance. That trust was everything, and it helped me build this dream from the ground up..
