Hi Bill, what are you inspired by?
My faith in God inspires me. Each morning I’m inspired for the day by reading the Bible, 2 books by Sarah Young, Jesus Calling and Jesus Always while communicating with the Lord. That starts my day full of inspiration.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Celebrating over 40 years in South Florida, Bill Hansen Catering & Event Production continuously challenges the boundaries of imagination and breaks new ground as one of the area’s best full-service event design and production companies. Its sophisticated know-how, warm, personalized service and paramount commitment to its clients’ happiness exceed even the highest expectations. Corporate Chef Dewey Losasso was selected by The Miami Herald as one of the “Florida Food Fifty,” a small, intimate group of trendsetters in Florida. His custom-crafted farm-to-fork menus truly represent the Bill Hansen Catering philosophy of forward and evolutionary thinking. In all they do, Bill Hansen and his team strive to delight their clients and guests with passion, innovation, teamwork and quality.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So many options and too little time: Day 1 Breakfast on South Beach as the sun rises, a round of golf on the Blue at Doral, and dinner at Joe’s. Day too: Calle Ocho for lunch and a Marlins game in the evening. Day 3—Aventura Mall and Bal Harbour Shops for shopping and dinner at Carpaccio Day 4 Leave early for deep sea fishing in the morning, Gulfstream Park for the races and dinner at El Cielo on Brickell. Day 5: Drive to Flamingo in Everglades Park for a fishing trip, followed by dinner at Sea Spice Day 6: Tour and dine at Wynwood and the Design District daytime. Stop at Night Owl Cookies for dessert before dinner at Cipriani. Day 7 Take a leisurely drive to the Florida Keys lunch at the Fish House, visit Pennekamp Park, an early dinner at Pierre’s and then begin diets on Day 8

Credit is due to Touching Miami with Love and their CEO Trina Harris—There is way too much hatred and bitterness in today’s world, and Touching Miami with Love dishes out lots of love and kindness. My wife Terry and I support them with time, talent and treasure. Since 1995, Touching Miami with Love has been serving the children, youth, and families of our communities with holistic programming as we inspire, educate , and empower . Their children’s programs at their Overtown and West Homestead sites focus on inspiring, educating, and empowering children. TML operates in the afterschool hours Monday through Friday in the school year and all day on most Teacher Planning Days, Spring Break, and Summer. www.touchingmiamiwithlove.org
