Meet Brandon London | Former NFL player turned TV/Digital Host.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon London and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi brandon, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started my own Business LLC because like Jay-Z said, “I’m not a businessman, I’m a business man!” My thought process was, since I’m 1099 with a lot of the gigs I’m getting, I should start getting paid as a business to protect my assets and start building business credit. My next move is actually starting a business in terms of selling products to consumers and things but right now I’m into the moving business and real estate.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Former Pro athlete turned TV/Digital host! Won a Super Bowl with the NY Giants and then played in Miami with the Dolphins! Miami is where my “downfall” started. I was too caught up in the “305 lifestyle.” No knock to South Beach or Miami, I just wasn’t mature enough to be a pro athlete in that city lol. I was out of the NFL the following year after not making the team with the Steelers and then headed to Canada to play in the CFL with the Montreal Alouettes. What I can say is that I learned a lot about PEOPLE during those years. I went from promotors, models, etc hitting me up all the time because I was in the league to no one calling/texting because I wasn’t associated with the Dolphins anymore. I’m far from bitter, but I told myself that the next time I had status/leverage, I was going to use it to my advantage. Anyway, my time in Montreal sparked my love for TV. I started living in LA during my off-seasons from the CFL to take online TV hosting classes, created my own web series while playing up there, and did enough football/entertainment-wise to put myself in a great position to get noticed by some big names in Hollywood!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In Miami? When I lived there it was 2008-2009. I don’t even know if the places I used to go to are still poppin’ lol. I’ve always wanted to reconnect with the Dolphins and Miami in general. I did go to the playoffs while playing there and the city always showed love. I live in NYC now, there’s no 1 place I’d tell ppl to go except Pergola. I love that spot
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to the London and Entzminger family! I want to shoutout allllll my grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, parents, brothers, sisters, and stepmom! Our mantra is #FaithFamilyFootball. Football has gave this family so much but we flipped it and turned it into a cash cow for the fam! Also, shoutout to allllll my former teammates who ever went with me to an event, held a camera to film me, came to my acting classes etc etc! And I’ll never be able to thank Giants fans enough! Y’all know why!
