We had the good fortune of connecting with Brian Stephenson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brian, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is knowing that I can create my own identity and have fun with doing what I love ! Being in the entertainment atmosphere is something I always wanted to be around since I was a kid and having the opportunity to really build a brand off something that involves showcasing talent, and confidence is what I know I needed to show success.

The true meaning of my brand that made it successful was simply being original and intricate to the name “BEEZY” which was given to me by one of my best friends who just always called me that when we were growing up. I then took that nickname and added “HostingsByBeezy” to piece it all up and create my own brand with it. Adding it to my uniforms, creating a social media platform, but most importantly adding my personality to it to create around the business.

Thusly, success lies from within and being a MC in South Florida relies on what you know and how you conduct yourself around the audience you are conducting in front of.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The one thing I love about my business is that I can enjoy having fun in what I do. What sets me apart from all the others is the identity I bring to the atmosphere of the hosting environment. To clarify, having things at my disposal from a professional standpoint, having your own materials, being business ready in whatever event I am blessed with, and also to have my own headline everything.

This task wasn’t easy because for me feedback is very important. Critcism is something people have to understand, which is something i had to grasp and obtain to be better at what I do on a day to basis. Having the right marketing and stepping stones to move to the next level in order to attract the clientele that is needed to create the buzz around my name.

The biggest challenge that I learned is to know how to overcome “No”. Doors will close and the most important thing is knowing that no one can never take away something you believe in that you take pride and dedication too. Obstacles will always be in the way but everyone has to know if you have a dollar and dream you stand by it and do what is needed to multiply and manage it. I want the world to know who Beezy is and the importance of the man behind the microphone. The face and the brand have the same meaning and that is nothing but excitement !

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Gotta visit my mentor’s restaurant right in the heart of Sunrise. GQ’s craft house grab some hookah and try some of the different varieties of craft cocktails he has. I am big fan of playing pool with the fellas so I would make sure to head over to Miscue Lounge right near Oakland Park ! Gabe and Jose always take care of me so I know the love always there no matter what.

Im big on lounges and just catching a vibe so whenever I do I am at the Wharf in Fort Lauderdale especially on Saturday nights make sure we get there when DJ Raphy is on set. Grab drinks at the bar and visit the many food trucks they have on sight too !

Young Circle in Hollywood is a historic area known for their culture of food so we would have to check out Chinaman’s egg roll truck and grab the hibachi roll I promise this is the best thing on the menu

Also have to catch my Dolphins in action at Hardrock stadium (if they play home) and grab great seats and but before we do TAILGATING is a must with all the family and friends. Have to grab us the honey roasted almonds and just sit back and enjoy the win.

Huge Shoutout to my mentor DJ GQ ! Without him I wouldnt have the endless opportunities that are presented before me. Also huge shoutout to Fleet DJ’s THE BEST NATIONWIDE DJ GROUP IN AMERICA ! Hijack, Grandz, Dj Nikki Fury all them believed in the talent and took the chance to promote the name and vision I presented to them as their South Florida Host.

Lastly, my family and friends. My dad, my best friends Jordan, Jaye, and Tyrese who been on me since the day I wanted to start this dream and be the person who they always envisioned. Without these people their wouldn’t be any Beezy.
