We had the good fortune of connecting with Brianna Collins and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brianna, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success/ the success of my brand, is that I am always willing to learn from others. I strive to help other entrepreneurs in my city understand the value of networking. Having like-minded individuals around you who are doing better than you or are where you want to be. An extended family business.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have a personal organizing business called A Touch of Simplicity LLC. I organize, declutter and help clients develop and maintain a unique and efficient system to help keep an organized and structured home.
I also just started a business networking firm called Family Business Creative Co. My mission for this company is to build a thriving, supportive community of entrepreneurs. I am helping them understand and start advocating the importance of forming business relationships with other entrepreneurs.
I am most proud and excited about how far both of my businesses have come. I have so much more to do with both, but knowing that others recommend them means I am doing something right.
The journey to where my businesses are now was difficult but graceful. I had to learn to balance being a student and working on my dream. There were bad days, and there were good days. But, I have to remember nothing happens overnight and that as long as I stay consistent with building and growing both, I will be successful.
I want the world to know that I am trying, dedicated and passionate about what I do with my businesses and that what keeps me going is knowing I am helping others.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Wow, I have a lot. Before I met my boyfriend I’d find myself trying new places by myself all the time ha! I’d have to say some of my favorite places and things to do would be: -Art hill during the evening in the summer, laying on a blanket reading.
-Creve Couer Lake for sure with a blanket and some great music.
-Global Quesadilla
-Blondies cafe for wine and brunch
-Polite Society for brunch
-Hotbox cookies
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes, I would love to give credit to Daymond John. CEO of the shark group and founder of fubu. I have been following his journey as an entrepreneur since I discovered ABC’s Shark Tank, and his Books have been a massive factor in how I think and do things business-wise.
