Meet Brigitte Pollio | Photographer Videographer Storyteller

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brigitte Pollio and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brigitte, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I decided to start my own photography business www.4-shoot.com because I love to tell stories and wanted to share my passion for beauty in all its meanings. I have always had a great passion for photography. Since I was a child, I always enjoyed taking pictures of my favorite things and special people, and when I grew up, I realized that I wanted to make photography a profession.
Now I can say that photography has become an important part of my life and allows me to capture and share a small part of my world with the world.
It has also given me the opportunity to travel and see places and meet people I would never have seen.
Over time, I have gained a great deal of experience in using high quality lenses and camera equipment, as well as dedicated myself to post production to ensure that my images are impactful.
Together, these two techniques allowed me to successfully start my photography business.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am proud of my art, which has brought me to a point where I feel accomplished. To get here, however, was not easy; it took a lot of work and perseverance. I faced some difficult challenges, but through my strength and determination I was able to overcome them. During my journey I have learned many lessons, such as the value of resilience, discipline and self-sacrifice. I want the world to know that I am a determined person and that I never give up in the face of difficulties. I like to work hard and have always followed my dreams.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting Los Angeles for a week, I would want to take him to all the most iconic places in the city. We would enjoy visiting the Hollywood Walk of Fame, taking a gondola ride to Venice Beach, taking a helicopter ride over the city, visiting the Griffith Park Observatory, and taking a trip to Magic Mountain. Also, I would make sure to take him to the best places to eat in Los Angeles. For example, taste authentic Mexican cuisine at Olvera Street, enjoy delicious burgers at In-N-Out Burger, experience a wide variety of sushi at Little Tokyo, or sample al pastor’s famous tacos at the famous Los Angeles taqueria. Finally, I would like to take him to some of the city’s best nightclubs, where he could dance until dawn.

If my best friend were visiting Miami for a week, I would take him to visit some of the city’s most famous attractions such as South Beach, the Art Deco District, and Miami Beach. Also, we would go exploring some of the city’s best restaurants such as Seaspice, Cibo and Casablanca. For entertainment, we could try late-night karaoke at The Clevelander, go to Wynwood Walls to see urban art, and attend a bowling game at Basement Bowl. The week would definitely be an unforgettable experience!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I dedicate my success to myself for all the hard work and commitment I put into my life. But also to all the people who supported, encouraged and believed in me from the beginning. I am grateful for the words of encouragement, love and trust they have placed in me. Those words have meant a lot to me in difficult times. Their support allowed my dreams to come true and their help contributed to my personal fulfillment. I am grateful to everyone for helping me achieve my goals.
