Meet Brittany Donaldson | Artist & Crystal Enthusiast

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Donaldson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, how do you think about risk?
To be very honest, taking risks has been the catalyst to all of the growth and progress I’ve experienced over the years. The comfort of complacency is safe, so I can understand why it’s easier said than done to shake things up. Luckily I’ve never been shy of being a risk taker, I kind of naturally gravitate towards the unknown. If î wouldn’t have abruptly quit my job working as a TSA agent back in 2010 I would’ve never stepped into the best years of my adult life of pursuing my passions. I now have 2 businesses and I wake up everyday on my own program, that sort of freedom is so empowering. Ironically 12 years later I’m at another crossroads of needing to embrace taking more risks to reach the next levels of my life. I’m excited to see how far my wings with stretch out this time 😊

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I chose Artist because my businesses reflect my art. I’m a hairstylist that’s been braiding hair since I was 9 years old, which makes 24 years of mastering my craft. I now own my own studio where I run my lifestyle brand Ma’at XXIII. My other business is Creator, I’ve been on a self healing journey for the last 11 years using crystals, kundalini yoga, sound healing, reiki, and Ayauhasca. 3 years ago my mother passed away from a brain tumor and I got the download to start a Crystal Business in her honor to help others start their own healing journeys.

What sets me apart from others is I am very light and easy going. I care about what I do and I think that’s what attracts ppl to me. They can tell I’m being authentic & I love what I do, this kind of energy is very infectious because everyone subconsciously yearns for that type of freedom within themselves.

I’m most proud of all of the progress I’ve made over the years. Looking at where I am now compared to when I took my leap of faith back in late 2010 is incredible. I know my story will teach others to always follow your heart. I’m excited to see where else my heart leads me .

My journey hasn’t been easy but there’s been so many confirmations along the way reassuring me that I’m on the right path. I use these signs to keep me motivated and grounded.

So far I’ve learned so many lessons of being a entrepreneur and the biggest one is always make time for self care. I make it mandatory to practice some form of self care at the beginning of every day before work. This way I’m starting my day vibrating high so anyone I encounter can feed off of it.

I want my story to inspire those by reminding them you can start at any moment you decide. Your journey is yours and it’s never too late to embrace your natural gifts and excel. My story is a testament of how powerful the mind and heart can be if you combine them.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to give all the credit to GOD, without Gods grace, guidance and everlasting love I wouldn’t be who I am today. There’s been times when I would pray for a sign and GOD will send the right person on my path to help me excel within any challenges. God gave me the intuition to know when to share my energy with others & where to go to get my energy replenished. I’m not even a very religious person and I don’t identify with any specific religion, however I can attest and say that my life is a example of how if you let GOD take the lead you’ll reach endless possibilities & abundance.
