Hi Brittany, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
With cultural enrichment my performances and vocal talents enrich the cultural fabric of the community and the world. Music is a universal language that transcends borders, bringing joy and inspiration to people from diverse backgrounds. Also with educational outreach, I have the opportunity to educate and inspire the next generation of musicians. By conducting workshops, masterclasses, or participating in educational programs,I can nurture young talents and pass on the legacy of classical music. 

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Hello, I’m Brittany Graham! I’m a classically trained soprano with a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from Webster University. My musical journey began at a young age when I started singing in the church choir and various other groups.

My path into opera was anything but conventional. When I initially auditioned for college, I thought I was applying for a musical theatre degree. To my surprise, I discovered it was for opera. They had me sing ‘Amazing Grace,’ and despite having no prior training in opera, they decided to teach me from scratch. Unlike many of my peers, who had been studying and taking voice lessons since the age of 5, I had a lot to catch up on. It wasn’t easy, but the journey has been incredibly rewarding, and my passion for what I do runs deep.

During my undergraduate and graduate studies, I had the opportunity to explore a variety of musical genres beyond opera. I dabbled in jazz, chamber music, artsong, folk, and even had the privilege of working one-on-one with up-and-coming composers.

As a singer, I see myself as a bridge between the work of composers and librettists and the audience. It brings me immense joy to transport people away from their troubles, if only for a little while. I take great pride in showing young children, especially those who look like me, that they need not limit themselves in their career paths. In the world of opera, I’ve found my own unique path and remained true to myself, and I hope to inspire others to do the same.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We head straight to one of the beautiful beaches in the area, spending the day soaking up the sun, swimming, and enjoying the stunning coastal views. Next, we explore the area’s shopping hotspots, hitting trendy boutiques, local markets, and larger shopping centers. In the evening, we enjoy a nice dinner at one of the area’s top restaurants. We visit a local museum or art gallery to immerse ourselves in the local culture.

We have lunch at a charming, local eatery, and in the afternoon, we take a guided tour of historical sites or landmarks in the area, like the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. To end the day on a melodious note, we visit a lively music venue, featuring Hued Songs, or enjoy an opera performance at either the Palm Beach Opera or the Florida Grand Opera.

The adventure takes a thrilling turn as we take a ferry ride to Bimini. Here, we engage in water sports, such as snorkeling or scuba diving, or simply unwind on the pristine beaches. We savor the flavors of local cuisine before taking the ferry back to the mainland. If there’s time, we might even embark on a spontaneous road trip to Disney! Our journey is an ongoing celebration of relaxation, exploration, and cultural enrichment.

I’d like to express my deep appreciation to my parents. They are my rock, providing unwavering support throughout my journey and keeping me grounded. I am truly grateful to God for blessing me with them.
