We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany M and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
The relationship I have with risk is a new one. Before, I played it safe, all the time. I needed to know exactly what would happen if I did something in particular. There could be no room for surprises or mishaps. With my music career, I lost that control. I had to take a leap and risk the world criticizing, liking or even wanting nothing to do with what I created. The reward though, the good parts, the highs and appreciation for sharing my passion makes it all worth it.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I think what sets me apart from others is the reason behind and my drive for pursuing music. I’m most proud that I was able to take such a personal part of me and share it with the world without knowing how it would be received. The hardest part was convincing myself that my talent was not just mine, but mine to use to inspire others, mine to help others realize they’re not the only ones who went through a specific experience. I want the world to know that Brittany M just wants to tell her story and, hopefully, provide some sort of escape for those who can relate to it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
To start off the perfect weekend, my bestie and I would have to visit Wynwood and hit up some of the local bars. On Saturday morning, we’d make our way to Swan Miami for brunch, aesthetics and gorgeous insta-worthy photos. Saturday night, we’d head to Ocean Drive for a exciting dinner on the beach. On Sunday, we’d end on a high note and spend the day at the Wharf enjoying drinks and bites from their many food trucks.

I’d like to shoutout the Neuyu Media Team, Limitless Joe and Diego Jeanty, for believing in my craft and working tirelessly with me to bring my vision to life.

I’d like to shoutout ShopCrystianity for helping me create the looks I need for all my visuals — photo and video shoots.

Finally, I’d like to shoutout my sister, Tonya Pratt, for assuming every single role I throw at her and executing each flawlessly.
