We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Welborn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
The most important decision that I had to make that has contributed to my success was to take action. I realized that talking about what I wanted to do was getting me nowhere so I actually started making changes in my life to make my dream a reality including quitting my $50,000/year job. I realized I am not getting any younger and that now was the time to get to work and make my dream a reality and I stepped out on faith and I have been in grind mode ever since.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started my brand, Preneuher in March of 2019 because I wanted to work with girl bosses and help them start and grow brands. I wasn’t sure exactly the service/products I wanted to offer them so I needed to find a way to assess the current needs/wants of girl bosses so that I could offer a profitable product/service. I built up a community of over 2400 women on Instagram in the last year and I’ve learned so much about what girl bosses really want and need to start and grow their brands. I’ve found that girl bosses need access to capital to start and grow their business so I have just recently branched out and added credit repair services under my brand called, Business Women Credit Services to help women build and rebuild credit so they can get access to the cash needed to start and grow their business. Women can also join my team and make money by referring credit repair clients to my company and they can use that money to save up to start/grow their brands as well. My goal is to help current or aspiring business women to make money by getting the money they need to get started.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in Atlanta so there is so many fun things to do here. We would book our stay at the fanciest hotel, like the Ritz Carlton. We would dine at the Cheesecake Factory and go to Skyview Atlanta which is 20-story Ferris wheel in Centennial Park providing scenic views. We would also just ride scooters down town or walk around and just enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out my fiance, Derrell Thomas for believing in my dream of becoming a full time entrepreneur and for working so hard to hold down the fort while I build my business.
