Hi Bronwyn, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
My end goal is to empower as many children as possible. At the end of my career everyone will understand what kids life coaching is and will know the name STARS kids life Coaches.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Have you heard of kids life coaching prior to reading this? Most people haven’t and I am on a mission to have everyone understand what we do and how we help kids. There is no greater inspiration than empowering children. STARS Kids Life Coaches is a certified global Kids Life group specializing in building self-esteem, social skills, emotional intelligence and communication skills while also addressing growth mindset for athletes, attention disorders, divorce recovery and also parental counseling. We work with children coaching them to develop a growth mindset, confidence-building, resilience and dealing with adversity. The ultimate goal is to build a success mindset in every young person with whom we work and to inspire, motivate, and provide kids with a greater self-acceptance, self- awareness and clear understanding of their own thinking patterns. We accomplish this by assessing children’s needs, then developing a tailor-made individualized program.

What makes The STARS Kids Life Coaches coaching distinctive, is that children learn through constructive play including virtually. This is a unique approach to coaching that will facilitate self-development, enhance social skills, and build self-esteem through the transfer of life skills. Being proactive with coaching children and building a toolbox of skills is monumental when children are dealing with daily stresses or coping with difficult situations in their lives.

Being a retired school teacher of 30 years, I have worked with very diverse groups of children, and have learned that whether a child is “typical” or struggling with a learning disability, attention deficit, or lack of self-esteem, they can greatly benefit from coaching. Empowering, motivating and having children realize that they can succeed in anything they attempt is paramount.

I am so proud of the fact that this business started with just me, and then I realized that I needed to develop a kids life coaching certification so that I can train more coaches, which in turn helps more kids. I have coaches now in multiple states and also Canada. This was a labor of love for two years. I am proud of of the integrity and rigor of the certification process which in turn produces top notch coaches.

I want the world to know that every child can benefit from Kids Life Coaching, they are life long skills.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live on Captiva. So this question is easy. We would rest and relax. Maybe lay on the beach and listen to the birds and watch the dolphins and manatees or maybe take a boat out and fish. There are so many wonderful restaurants to choose from, but many are still building back from Hurricane Ian.

In Miami, when we visit (takes only 2 1/2 hours from Captiva) we have recently been staying in Brickell. Love the vibe and amazing restaurants.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I couldn’t be here without the support of my family. They believed in my dream and supported me through every step of the process. My biggest supporter and number one fan is my husband. He believed in my mission and is always there to brainstorm ideas, share constructive criticism, give amazing business advice, and laugh-cry with me when I am feeling overwhelmed.
