We had the good fortune of connecting with Brooke Beard and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brooke, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe that I can attribute most of my success to my passion/belief in what I do, and a neurotic need for “perfection”. My whole life I’ve been an extremely anxious person and have felt that I was never doing, or achieving enough. While it has been challenging to manage, it has also enabled me to reach goals that seem really daunting or difficult.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What really sets Food Vibes apart from any other service like it, is our dedication to quality and sustainability. We pride ourselves on having the absolute best quality ingredients possible, without sacrificing taste, or nutritional benefit. Unfortunately a lot of nutrition advice can be very confusing and straight up dangerous. Our mission at Food Vibes is to simplify healthy eating, and educate people on their own body and specific needs.
We are 100% Organic, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Grass-fed, Wild Caught, Free Range, Sustainable, and Refined Sugar Free.
So you can trust that what you’re eating is good for you and the planet. Sustainable sourced ingredients are only half the battle though. Our pledge is to eliminate all single use plastics from our operation. This is why we use biodegradable materials for all our meal prep containers and bags.
While this may seems like a no brainer, there is a reason that we stand alone in our quality. We value planet and people over profit. We understand the value of your health. It is your #1 greatest asset and needs to be protected at all costs. So we decided that we would stop at nothing to make sure that we don’t sacrifice that for money, which means nothing at the end of the day.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
South Orange County is a goldmine of activities and amazing people. The place you’ll catch my friends and I every weekend is the beach! When you live in California you have to take advantage of the sunshine! After the beach I’d take everyone to Restore hyper wellness to do some biohacking. Redlight therapy is always key for after a long day in the sun! We would also get IV drips to replenish our fluids and make sure we are ready to go out for the night! While there are many great places to go out, one of my favorites is Nick’s restaurant and bar. Make sure to give the bartender a good tip (he’s amazing!) And if we still had time, id take everyone to the harbor in Dana Point to watch the sunset.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I owe my humble beginnings to all my favorite podcast hosts, Ben Greenfield, Dhru Purohit, and Mark Hyman for getting me interested in gut health, and taking our body into own hands.
I also can’t thank my partner, Taylor Morgan, enough. He has been a part of Food Vibes from the beginning and I’ll be forever grateful because without him it wouldn’t exist.
