We had the good fortune of connecting with Camille Simone and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Camille, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I’ve been a hairstylist for years (I also own CS Hair Studio 😉) and I wanted to give women a real luxury experience with quality product. I decided to create something outside of CS Hair Studio that would take on an identity of its own. No janky hair in a cute box, no terrible customer service, no making the customer hunt down their own lost package or risk losing their money or any of the horror stories I’ve heard. I wanted to deliver change in an elevated way

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I wanted to create a hair company that stood out; our slogan is “Discover the Difference”. My focus is creating an unforgettable customer experience. For context, think of it like shopping at your favorite designer store, private entrance, everyone is waiting on you hand and foot, you are the VIP. Thats the 1207 Hair Co experience.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
You can admire the art in Wynwood, shop from Bal Barbour up to Aventura, you can eat anywhere but you can’t leave without having food at Sunday’s in Miami Gardens and when you’re feeling a little bougie Prime 112, Flemings or Nobu

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I dedicate this to my parents for instilling resilience and my ability to hustle and make something out of nothing. My close friends for supporting all of my crazy ideas even if they don’t understand the vision. Above all else, I dedicate this to the Creator of all creators, Jehovah. I would not be who or where I am without His favor.
