We had the good fortune of connecting with Carlos Rodriguez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carlos, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
One of my favorite movies is ‘A Bronx Tale’, and there’s a line from it that has really stuck with me: ‘The saddest thing in life is wasted talent.’ This quote motivated me to launch a business that not only recognizes and celebrates my own abilities, but also supports others in showcasing their talents and businesses.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart from others is my ability to listen to my clients and my attention to details. This helps me bring their vision to life and bring a smile to their face.

I am most proud of facing my fears and actually taking the leap of being a business owner. Where I am from the majority of folks play it safe because it’s what we were all taught. Dreams were not real because at first it does not provide a steady paycheck. But my mentality has always been take the risk and try instead of never knowing what could have been.

I worked a corporate job for a long time and did my videography as a side hustle. At work many of my co-workers would always tell me “what are you doing here? You should be out filming and creating full time! Every time I heard this it would stay with me for a few days. The fears would kick. I would ask myself what if I am not good enough?would I be able to support myself? There are so many people already doing it etc etc. One day things changed at work and I built up the courage and decided to finally make the jump.

What I have learned along the way is that as scary as things may seem there are always people that are willing to help. As an introvert this is something I also had to overcome. I would always think I will do this my way. I can figure it out. But truth is that everything becomes so much easier if you have a mentor that has done it or ask for help from people with more experience.

What I would like the world to know about my brand is that I am dedicated to help people grow their brands by providing the best visual stories I can for them. I am constantly learning and grinding to be the best I can be and dedicated to my craft.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Rent a boat and spend half a day at Haulover Sandbar Spend a day at Wynwood looking at all the cool art and enjoying all types of different food.
Catch a Marlins Game
Little Havana
Eat at Carbone South Beach ( if reservation is made in advance )
Go to the Superblue Miami Art Installation
Play some Pickelball
Spend a day on the beach and south pointe park
Enjoy a night or two on South Beach
Go swimming at the Venetian Pool

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shoutout would definitely be dedicated to my mother Maria Rodriguez who passed away last year. She worked in the same job for 43 years and sacrificed a lot of her own dreams in order to give me a better life. No matter what I did she was always proud and 100% supportive of my ideas.
