Meet Caroline Ojeda | Certified Makeup Artist and Beauty Marketing

We had the good fortune of connecting with Caroline Ojeda and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Caroline, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?

I’ve always been involved in the Beauty industry since a very young age, its truly all I know and have always been around, and I absolutely love all it entails, it’s an industry that never gets boring and that is always changing. At just the young age of six I was already exploring the beauty industry thanks to my mom who worked for one of the largest Cosmetic manufacturers in New York. Fast forward to 30 plus years later and the idea of having my own makeup line was always burning inside me and I just knew I needed to pursue it!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My background in art comes from many years of working as a Certified Makeup Artist, brand builder for major Cosmetic lines, and Marketing in the Beauty industry. What sets me apart from others I think is my passion and hunger to push myself constantly and to never stop learning, the key to success is always educating yourself.
I am very proud of being involved in all the small and big aspects of the B Goddess brand.
I am excited to see where B Goddess will be in five years and how much we will grow into new areas of the Beauty industry including Eye Makeup and a clean Skincare line.
What has helped me get to where I am today professionally is always being willing to learn, I just can’t stress that enough, and adapting to the always changing Beauty world.
It was not always easy to overcome the challenges in the industry I chose. I had to learn that there are no right or wrong ways to do things, you can’t stick to a rule book that sure doesn’t apply in the world of Makeup. It is so important to listen to your audience, your clients, your followers, and your team.
For me Beauty is all about what makes you feel empowered, secured, and strong when applying your fav Lipstick or Lashes.
I want the world to know that B Goddess represents strength, beauty, courage, and passion!
The B Goddess brand is about products that are clean, fun, diverse, and Vegan.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

If my bestie was in town I have to take her to Islamorada my favorite place to disconnect, refresh, relax, eat and come up with new ideas. We definitely are having lunch at Morada Bay, best Fish Tacos ever, lol. We must visit Las Olas there is just so much to do from shopping at cute Boutiques, visiting art galleries, eating ice cream, and having some great food with so many wonderful food options!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mom and my three daughters were my inspiration to build and bring B Goddess to life. Because of my mom I discovered the world of manufacturing all things beauty. My daughters have been my push to create a business from scratch that they could be proud of saying cuddos to mom she did that, and that they can be a part of!
