We had the good fortune of connecting with Chancellor Trump and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chancellor, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
An everyday 9 to 5 job does absolutely nothing for my personality. I’m a performing arts major from Nova Southeastern University, & being on stage expressing myself has always been in my nature since I was 6 years old. On my journey to becoming famous, I always keep in mind that that’s exactly what it is, a journey. Nothing is guaranteed in life except bills & death. Even the highly famous are forgotten, but I simply can’t go through life without actually living life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a rap artist from Richmond Heights located in Miami, Florida. My style of music is strictly party mainstream. We haven’t had a male artist in the party music sector since the early 2000’s when Ying Yang Twins was hot. Most artists that are coming out now are making trap and drill music. Missy Elliott is a heavy influence on my artistry, so I intend to stay in the lane of remaining true to what I’m good at, which is making people get up & dance. I am most proud of my platinum streaming status. Currently I have over 3 million streams throughout all platforms, along with six platinum plaques from Spotify. I also have a song called Dolla Fo’ Dolla featuring Yo Gotti, another platinum selling artist. Verified on Instagram, I’ve also secured a local radio song of the week contest on Hit Factory Radio (@hitfactoryradio954) sponsored by Iheart Radio. My accolades have come with a lot of lessons that I’m glad I learned early on. Everyone is not your friend and does not have your best interest at heart..

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
THIS IS MIAMI BABY!!! South Florida is completely surrounded by water, so the beach is definitely our first stop. We have tons of shopping malls, nightlife, restaurants, nightclubs, museums, zoos, and lots of culture to explore. Some of my favorite spots for food, starting with breakfast are Milk Money, (located in Wilton Manors), & Untoasted (Hallandale Beach). I’m a big seafood eater so Shooters in Fort Lauderdale or Rustic Inn in Hollywood are my go-to places for lunch & dinner. Soul food joints are infinite within the city limits & most of them are open late nights.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I absolutely must give a shout out to Daniel Taylor, founder & CEO of Dyzell Entertainment (@iamdyzell). I was introduced to him by another fellow artist I’ve known since high school. He has personally hand crafted my sound, taught me everything I know about the music industry, & guided me in the direction I’m headed now. I also would like to thank Jean Jwett Civil of Kri8ed Media Group (@kri8edmediagroup) for his contribution to ALL of my visual content. He is a cinematic genius & a breath of fresh air for the digital media & marketing industry.
