We had the good fortune of connecting with Chantaul Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chantaul, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
I think the most important thing i’ve done as a parent is teach my son how to have character and good character at that, Although he’s 2 years of age I believe it’s very important you teach your children that lesson early. Because, that will impact him in a major way later in life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is that I stay in my lane, And chose records I know in my heart and spirit will become a hit one day. I don’t give up on certain records because they’re old to me. I feel some of my older records are just getting the recognition that I’ve always dreamed of.

I am most excited about finally dropping my first album next year. It’s been a long time coming lol.

I got to where I am today professionally by constant prayer, hard work, hustle, never had a team but definitely was blessed with help along the way by several individuals. It definitely wasn’t easy a lot of blood, sweat and tears.

I overcame the challenges by constant prayer and even when I lost my faith because we all lose our faith at times especially when you’re chasing a dream I continued to push through and pray as well as taking in the wisdom that has been told to me in my journey.

The lessons I’ve learned along the way is: Never trust to quickly, invest in yourself before expecting someone else to invest into you, don’t give up no matter how long it takes or how hard is may be, stay connected to God, it’s no emotions when it comes to business because business and emotions never mix well, study study study because all of the greats studied as well.

I would like the world to know I will never stop chasing my goals in music, entrepreneurship or motherhood. And one day will take the industry by storm.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had a best friend here’s how the itinerary would go:)

We would first go and get brunch at “Fins and Feathers”.
Then we would go to get massages at a spa of our choice as well as get our nails and toes done.
We would then do a little shopping.
After we would go back to my house, kick off our shoes and relax until about 5:00
I then would make a huge fruit salad to hold us over for dinner.
We would then get dressed for dinner that night.
Dinner would be at “Ruth Chris” (8:00 Reservation) desserts as well
We would then find a dance club to go to and let lose.
This would just be the first day.
For the remainder of the week, we would do brunch at a different restaurant each day, visit some attractions like the “Georgia Zoo”, Go to a baseball game, Catch a movie, Eat dinner at different restaurants that represent a different nationality, we would go to the Museum of Arts, Go ride horses at a winery and drink different wines their, go to a comedy show, visit a historic area in Atlanta.
I think my best friend would want to move to Georgia after her week spent with me.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my shout out to my Grandmother & my beautiful son.
