We had the good fortune of connecting with Charline Fulbright and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Charline, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process for opening my Salon & Spa, was to help others feel great about themselves both inside and outside. I feel when we look good, we feel good.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Being a foreigner from the Bahamas and moving to Miami at a younger age, I always knew I wanted something bigger for my life. I always knew whatever I put my mind to I would want to be the best. Both my parents are from Haiti and I’ve always learned a lot from their hard working and always knew I didn’t want to work so hard and not have anything to show for it. I figure how to work harder and smarter and made sure I wasn’t over killing my self. I’ve learned in the beauty industry not only are we providing a beauty service but we are also therapist. And it’s very rewarding to know we are helping others.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would say everywhere in Miami is amazing in it’s on way. There’s character in every town/city. My favorite is south beach for many reasons. The atmosphere is safe and very entertaining. The food there is to die for. I’ve always gone to sugar and any hole in the wall spot.. shopping is always a plus.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
