We had the good fortune of connecting with Chino and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chino, how do you define success?
Success is when you reach your purpose and your greatest desires in your life and career. While many people define success as being wealthy or famous, there is no single way to determine whether someone is successful. Professional success takes time, so it’s important to bring a high level of effort every day, not just the days when you feel like it. I define success as challenging myself to keep growing, and learning, how much I’m helping my team and company.
I don’t think you can have a good definition of success without looking at the results you achieve with your team.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Oriana Tattoo – History: The first tattoo studio established by Chino, a well-known businessman in Miami, was over 25 years ago. Many of the famous Miami tattoo artists today started their careers at one of Chino’s tattoo studios around south Florida. In 2015 he decided to open Oriana Tattoo’s state-of-the-art tattoo studio in the amazing city of Miami Beach. By the corner of 71st Street and Collins Ave across from the beach. Here you can find a team of old-school artists with many years of experience working together mixed with international artists with big names that bring something special to the table from aboard, such as the latest technics and the newest updated equipment. The idea was to combine a family feels with an international vibe just like the great city of Miami Beach. Among our clients, you can find local people that enjoy hanging out at the shop and keep collecting tattoos and tourists who visit the city and stay in the hotels in the area. Thanks to social media and our website, tourists that are planning their vacations here are booking in advance their appointments with their chosen tattoo artist before they arrive at Miami Beach. During their vacation getting a tattoo that means something really cool for the rest of their life. Trash Polka is a style of tattooing that consists entirely of a black and red color scheme characterized by collage-like images featuring moments of realism, lettering, and abstract or geometric shapes.

Trash polka is a mixed-media form of tattooing that is created with various, non-limited components. Detailed photo-realistic portraits can be displayed in conjunction with graphic elements such as large black areas, brush strokes, and geometric or abstract shapes. The tattoos are mainly black and red, but other colors can be used as well. It is often referred to as the use of color contrasts known in the art, such as a complementary contrast, that creates the optical effect. Abstract designs that are combined with realistic motifs are a key point of the tattoo style. It is common for lettering to be included in tattoos with distinctive varieties of fonts. The majority of original Trash Polka tattoos are done as large-scale pieces in order to suit the motifs and elements.

HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL
