Hi Chrissy, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting my business was mainly me trying to find something to stand out in as a female. I had to find something that I really loved and it was not cosmetics, instead it was cars. A lot of women do not have an interest in cars but I do and that helped develop BanksLuxx Rentals.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
BanksLuxx is an exponential luxurious car rental company that serves you a premium 5-star experience and is located in South Florida in the Broward County & Miami area. What sets me apart from others is that a lot of people who own rental businesses aren’t as committed to providing their customers an experience & great service, they only care for the money and to get them out their hair.

To get to where I am now was hard but I know to get to where I want to be will be more difficult. There was a lot of challenges that I encountered throughout starting my business but to overcome them I had faith and prayers when I ran out of answers for myself. The lessons I’ve learned in this business is that not everyone will pay your price but it okay because they aren’t the target audience that you’re looking for. You do not have to lower your prices to make anybody happy. People will tell you how to run your own business & degrade you but don’t entertain it or listen to the negativity.

I had this idea of starting my business when I was 16 or 17, later I started & executed it when I was 19 with a 2016 Mercedes C300. BanksLuxx Rentals has been in business for almost one year and soon will be the #1 car rental company owned by a women.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them out to Miami South Beach where some of the greatest activities are at.

Design District to see the sights and graffiti and eat.
Wynwood Walls for activities such as candle making, paintball, karaoke, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shoutout goes to my girlfriend, Ari. Without her I probably wouldn’t be as far as I am in my business and I just want to thank her so much! She will help and motivate me to keep on going even when things are slow. Ari would drive me to the airport almost everyday to pick up and drop off cars before or after she gets off work. I know my work takes up a lot of her time but she’s super supportive and I can’t wait to give back as much as she has given to me. I’m not just saying this because she’s my girlfriend, but because she is truly amazing and helps me out from pick ups/drop-offs to mechanically fixing the cars herself to investing in me.
