Meet Christian Galvez | HEAD ENGINEER AND OWNER

We had the good fortune of connecting with Christian Galvez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christian, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting both MixedByXB and Xponent Studios came from a mix of passion, purpose, and long-term vision. From day one, the thought process was rooted in creating a space and service that elevated the artist experience—both creatively and professionally.
With MixedByXB, the focus was on quality. I wanted to offer a mixing service that artists could truly trust—where the sound was industry-level, but the process was personal. It was about filling a gap I saw in the market: engineers who understood both the technical side and the emotional connection artists have with their music.
As for Xponent Studios, the goal was to build more than just a recording space—it was about building a creative hub. A place where artists could come and feel inspired, comfortable, and confident in the final product. I carefully planned the location, gear, and vibe to align with the experience I would want as an artist or engineer.
In both cases, the mindset was always: “How can I raise the bar? How can I create something that stands out and actually helps people grow in their careers?”
It took risk, consistency, and belief in the vision—but more importantly, it took listening to artists and understanding what they really need. That has always guided every business move I’ve made.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What makes Xponent Studio stand out from other businesses is our commitment to both quality and experience. We’re not just offering a space to record—we’re offering a full creative atmosphere where artists feel heard, supported, and inspired. From the top-tier equipment to the personalized engineering, every detail was chosen with the artist’s success in mind.
What I’m most proud of is the community we’ve built around the studio. Seeing artists return, grow, and refer others because they truly believe in the work we do—that’s the biggest reward.
It definitely wasn’t easy getting to where we are today. There were long nights, setbacks, and sacrifices along the way. But through consistency, hard work, and a genuine love for music, we’ve built a reputation we can be proud of. The positive reviews and word-of-mouth from our clients have played a major role in our growth, and for that, we’re extremely grateful.
At Xponent Studios, we’re not just recording hits—we’re building legacies.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I had a week to show someone around, I’d make sure they get the full experience—music, culture, good food, and unforgettable vibes.
Day 1: Miami Vibes
We’d kick it off in Wynwood—hit up the murals, grab tacos from Coyo Taco, and check out some local art galleries. At night, we’d slide to Boho House or Dante’s HiFi for some dope music and a laid-back lounge vibe.
Day 2: Studio Day at Xponent
No trip would be complete without locking in at Xponent Studios. Whether you’re recording or just soaking in the energy, it’s always a creative and inspiring experience. Afterward, we’d grab some food from Drunken Dragon—a hidden gem with fire Asian fusion dishes.
Day 3: South Beach Reset
Morning on the beach, chillin’ at Lummus Park. Then lunch at Joe’s Stone Crab or Mandolin Aegean Bistro. In the evening, maybe a rooftop drink at Serena Rooftop in the Art Deco district.
Day 4: Culture & Soul
We’d take a trip to Little Haiti or Overtown to tap into the soul and roots of Miami’s culture. Grab Haitian food from Chef Creole, then visit the Black Archives or catch live jazz at The Corner downtown.
Day 5: Day Trip Escape
We’d dip to the Florida Keys or do an airboat ride in the Everglades for something different. Fresh seafood dinner by the water and call it a vibe.
Day 6: Hidden Gems
Brunch at Greenstreet Café, then hit up some local boutiques and record stores. Maybe catch a heat game or live music at The Oasis in Wynwood.
Day 7: Unwind & Reflect
Sunset views at Rusty Pelican, reflecting on the week with good food, chill drinks, and even better company.
Miami’s full of energy, culture, and creativity—and this trip would be the perfect balance of all of that.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Big shoutout to Ditour Records—proud to have them as an official partner of Xponent Studios! 🙌
This partnership represents more than just collaboration—it’s about building a creative ecosystem where independent artists can thrive. With Ditour Records bringing top-tier talent and industry vision, and MixedByXB handling the sonic quality and engineering, Xponent Studios is now fully positioned to be a powerhouse for artist development, production, and major releases.
We’re excited to offer artists a space backed by real label support, high-level mixing, and a studio environment built for greatness. This is just the beginning—tap in and be part of something bigger.
Let’s grow the culture.
