Hi Christina, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
My desire for my brand to be recognized is one of the key success elements behind The Prettiest Bakery. My willingness to keep learning new skills and trying things has also helped my bakery gain momentum. When you initially start out or even as you advance in your skill, not everything will run like a well-oiled machine, but that’s the joy of running a business—you get to thoroughly explore your niche and keep your clientele eager to try something new. 

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My unique and flavorful desserts are what makes me stand out; they’re not just delicious, but also breathtakingly beautiful. With each bite, it embodies the exact meaning of luxury, with my use of high end ingredients. Not many bakers and treat makers in my region provide the true essence of “luxury,” which is a crucial element that everyone aspires to have in life. When you put in the effort and commitment to develop your brand, everything is achievable. I have maintained my clients new and old by giving them just that, an experience that can’t be duplicated. Baking and making exceptional treats can be quite a time consuming task, but it’s what I’ve fallen in love with. God has given me such an amazing gift and it brings me satisfaction seeing my clients excited to receive their orders.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of the greatest inventions ever made has had to be brunch; I adore a good, wonderful, southern brunch to take a break from being a mom, work, school, and even my business. Just Spoons in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and my all-time favorite Victory Lounge in Miami are two places you simply must visit. FL has a magnificent atmosphere full of culture and fun.  

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to express my gratitude to my incredible clientele, who has helped me continue to be prosperous. The Prettiest Bakery would not be what it is today without them. I am grateful to everyone who supports me, whether it be by leaving a positive review on a post, telling your colleague how delicious my cakes are, or hiring me to bake for your elaborate party. I am extremely thankful.
