We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Terron and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christina, what inspires you?
I’m inspired by those who supported me in my journey so far and those who continue to believe in me and my dreams. I’m also inspired by a lot of my students. Some tell me that I’m the first instructor to really understand their educational needs and develop a friendship with them rather than just send them homework and tests. I’m inspired to better my business as my goal is to see my students achieve their educational goals. I’m inspired by my family, friends, boyfriend and future family. My mom and siblings always told me I should tutor but I thought they just told me that because they’re family and I always had to help my younger siblings with their homework. One day I was talking with my friends and boyfriend and they gave me the final push I needed to go ahead and start my company. I wanted to help students of all ages to succeed in their studies.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
It hasn’t been easy starting up as I thought I’d be able to do it on my own at first. In between school, family, doing social media marketing and trying to get into my dream college, I realized I was going to need some help. I enlisted the help of friends of mine that were in the same Cambridge program. Together, we’ve been able to expand the company and reach more students. We treat each student as an individual as no two students learn the same. Each tutor cares about every student they have and genuinely wants to see them succeed as we pair students with tutors that we know will pair well !

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would most likely take them to Fairchild or Agaucate ! Both places are very educational, very fun, and have great food!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to all my students and their parents. You all inspire me more and more everyday and I’m so happy to be working with you all to achieve your / your child’s educational goals and to go on to do great things in their adult lives !
