Meet Cici Diaz | Public Figure, Actress & Mother

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cici Diaz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cici, what is the most important factor behind your success?
In doing what I do, I showcase to every woman out there that there is no such thing as impossible. Instead it’s “I’m Possible”. This mindset is the main factor that defines my success as a creator. Taking on risk and demonstrating that the only thing holding anyone back from achieving success is your mindset. Once you break free from such mental block, you’d be surprise what you can achieve. Having the ability to not stand in your own way really allows you to reach heights in your success that before you never thought you could reach. My success is contributed by placing no limits to what you can accomplish and allowing yourself to blossom.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
This journey began with dealing with infertility. Yes! that is right my infertility lead me to the world of acting and where I am today. I began my acting as a form of expression and escape from my emotional state of mind in dealing with infertility. Creating content was my so called Therapy.
It all started with Tiktok. I found myself creating short videos to help me deal with the sadness I was carrying inside. Somehow making others laugh made me feel better and helped me cope with my own situation.
As I gained thousands of followers, I realized that others have the same problem and I am helping them too in coping. It became a support system but not just with infertility but just life’s dealings.
With this experience I came into communication with Actress and Producer Sadie Garcia, who mentored me to own my story. I made my story my brand.
As, I work today in a small series acting and directing a new drama action series , I find myself reaching success that honestly never thought was possible. Was it easy? No- Nothing worth it is. But I have met great people along the way that understand my journey, story and brand and want to help me reach higher success. The only mistakes made in this life – are risk not taken. As every lesson has something to teach you. I am here to advocate for infertility and advocate for dreams to be chased.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am Florida Keys raised so, If anyone comes to visit, its one of the first places I would show. The beauty those islands offer is just breathtaking. The waters and reefs surrounding South Florida have some of the most beautiful underwater life I have ever seen. It’s a beauty you can’t just describe to someone, you have to show them.
Once we are done exploring the beautiful Florida Keys and eating some of the most delicious meals from Key Largo Fisheries down to The Square Grouper in Islamorada, I would say lets explore the past.
By the past I mean, Miami has so much history such as Venetian Pool, Vizcaya, Liberty Building and so much more. I would want people to see that there is more to Miami than just palm trees and beaches. Don’t get me wrong, the beaches are beautiful and definitely worth visiting but Miami is so much more than that.
We have a culture that is not found anywhere else. Because, lets face it – you can travel all over the US and you will not find a city like Miami. The people here are so widely diverse that even people watching is fun! There is definitely a few restaurants’ on my list, but I would say you haven’t done a Miami visit properly if you didn’t eat at one of most infamous restaurants- Flanigan’s. Flanigan’s is an icon for some of our best sports nights from NFL Season to NBA championship wins. Plus their famous cup is one most household in Miami have.
And you cannot forget another infamous restaurant to our Miami Culture- “La Carreta” as this is one of my childhood favorite restaurants with not only the best Cafecito in town but delicious Cuban Food worth every calorie.
Lets just say that visiting Miami with me will get you cultured on the Real Miami.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost- To the fans that have supported me since day 1. Their support helped me reach this far. To Sadie Garcia for believing in me and taking me on as a Host in her Podcast Series Wife to Wolf Network. Her mentorship provided many other opportunities and through her I have met other public figures, Actors and Directors that have guided me to continue this journey. And to my son L.Ripp, he is the reason for everything I have done and will continue to do.
